This game is not even close in the level and amount of activity you have in POE. This is fuckign laughable to even compare the two. POE has so much shit to do that is diffeent at end game you could go for a week and not do the same thing.

Why would you even try to compare them, its dumb. One is what 10 years old, with all that entails, the other is 3 weeks old. It's silly. At least in terms of content amount.

Because we hoped that they would at least steal the really good shit from POE out of the gate.

I asked awhile back if anyone knew what "kill soul-infused enemies" means for one of the events, but didn't get an answer. That's the only event I can't figure out. There's a ghost with a faint blue circle around him, and the mastery goal is "kill soul-infused enemies" and it has the orange bar that fills up alongside/superimposed on the red timer bar. I've managed to fill the orange bar slightly but can't figure out what's actually doing it, nor what a soul-infused monster even is, and have never beaten it in ~10 times coming across it.

That's literally all the event is. Ignore anything that doesn't have the blue aura. One always pops up after you kill the previous. Keep bee-lining to them and you'll hit the mastery req easy.

Seananigans Seananigans It spawns mobs that have a green aura around them, you have to kill those mobs as they spawn. I found the most success on that one if I mostly ignore the other mobs and make sure I can insta-kill the event mobs right when they spawn, otherwise you can end up not having enough time. You don't have to stay near the ghost for this one, it's not one of the escort the ghost around events.

Same here, I slaughter everything but still seem to fail it every time

The best part is everyone readily admits that PoE has TOO MUCH shit in it to the point that it's a turn-off for new players. Shit, even PoE devs must have admitted there was too much shit to do because you get the privilege of spending atlas points to REMOVE CONTENT instead of using them on buffs.

Oh ya, and Last Epoch has been in paid beta for 5 years but has 4 whole dungeons you can do and maps that aren't called maps, and an "endless arena" that isn't repetitive at all.

They may, but to expect that at the start, lol? There has to be a carrot. You never front load a live service game. Even if the developers wanted to, the suits would never allow it.

On another note, expect this build to be nerfed and the ability to swap items in combat to be removed , after :

The ghost I'm describing with a blue circle around it is not a targetable or attackable monster. It is some sort of event/quest npc. I have never seen a monster with an aura during this event.

On top of that, most of the time I slaughter everything that's spawning reasonably quickly, and still get nowhere close to beating it. So forgive me if I am hesitant to accept these answers as correct.

Perhaps it's just a bugged pile of shit, because what those two are saying is nothing like my experience with the event. And I'm fairly sure I'm not a retard, I think I'm evaluating what I see properly.

Not what I mean. Just take the best league (arguably POE Atlas as it introduced the game defining maps system) and steal that. Then work on stealing the other ones as your good content for seasons.

Yea, I know you're talking about the ghost and not the monsters. When you run up to the event there are always 3 mobs with a greenish aura. Once the event starts it will start spawning waves of mobs, you kill the ones with greenish aura when they pop up. They will only pop up one at a time and it seems to work best if you mostly ignroe the non aura mobs. If I had to guess i'd say killing everything slows down the spawn rate of the aura mobs because I was just killing stuff at first and failing but once I started ignoring the normal mobs other than throwing my big aoe every now and then, I pass the event with tons of time to spare every time.

Feel free to ignore me and keep failing, tho.

What about "I have never seen a monster with an aura during this event" confuses you?

If what you're describing is accurate *for you*, then this is indeed bugged because I have never seen that once.

True, and maybe it will come. Who knows. Though honestly the days of blizzard stealing the best ideas and improving them, seems long past. Though I am sure there would be plenty of roasting, if they just straight stole league ideas and moved them over. I'd rather see new and interesting stuff, if that is even possible from blizzard anymore.

Just do what most seem to do, play both, if they are both fun to you.

It is the blue highlighted guys. It's not too hard to do if you really look for them. First few times I got that I didn't get the bonus either.

Put me in camp "never seen an aura, slaughtered everything instantly and only got the event to 50%".

Are you guys talking about the events that are basically ghost escorts? Stay inside the circle while the ghost moves around looking for their loved one. If you leave the circle they get spooked and don't find who they are looking for in time. I mean the objectives are all pretty clear. If it says to kill soul infused enemies there are definitely enemies with auras around.
