Don’t you have to play the whole fucking campaign if you do a seasonal and don’t want to skip the story? That’s why I planned to do it.

I guess you can do Lord of Hatred story only then go into the rest of the season?

Last time I played I leveled seasonal through the VoH story since I hadnt done it, I imagine that will apply to the new expansion.

I plan on doing the Campaign via my Eternal Paladin, then if I want to mess with whatever S13 has to offer, make a new character (skip campaign) for it. Though if I could have used my old Sorc, I would do that since it appears Hydra / Firewall is as good as it was at launch now.

Keep in mind I don't have Diablo 4 yet but I was wondering if the Rogue can be built anything like the traditional Amazon type class in Diablo 2. I have never seen anyone on Twitch playing this. All anyone on Twitch seems to play is Paladin or Barbarian it seems.

There's pretty good melee and bow builds. I've done melee builds on a number of occasions. I think this season they may get even better with the amount of additions with the update.

They are releasing this at a good time. I caved and bought it. I will be playing a Paladin.

Steam doesn't have preloading so maybe they added the delay so Steam players can start the season on time too? Seems weird though since I assume they didn't sell that many on Steam but eh.

That or they expect the servers to be a big mess at launch and this gives time for people to get in the queue and shit.

Finished the Doom grind 4mins before I thought the season ended, and then noticed I was actually one hour off, but well it's done at least. Didn't care for the cosmetics but figured they were there so might as well get them. Also finished the vanilla story, but didn't bother starting vessel of hatred since I figured I'll just do it on my next char.

It's been preloading on Battle net for the last two days when I remembered to put the Battle net launcher on. When I first launched battle net (after a long while) Diablo 4 was apparently still installed, so it updated some 60 gb or somesuch, and downloaded at my max speed. However, when the pre-load patch started, it stayed at max 1mb download the entire time.

Started a Paladin to try earlier (starting compaltely fresh since it's been so long), but not sure if I want to do a Paladin or Warlock run. Got Paladin to level 20 and not really feeling it. Not doing any build, but doing a Divine thing with hammer that cause vouln, stab spear, holy aura and the flying spear ability. Seems like a powerful class though, not been anywhere near dying starting on hard.

Kinda want pets since I usually always go pet builds.

As expected, Blizzard can't have a smooth launch.

Got in fine the first time. Had to respec my Sorc, but got DC'd during that. Unable to get back in due to some save error. Try my Paladine, DC'd due to timeout. Try it again, same save error.

Steam DB says only 13k are ingame.

Got in, ported to the new campaign objective; black screen, with sound and access to the ESC menu, but nothing else. Exit game, now a 120m queue, which is probably a lie as it'll DC as soon as tries to login due to timeout.

Edit: Yep, as soon as it tried to login after getting through the queue, it errored out; giving me some console error, lol.

I got all patched up, created my new seasonal Warlock, started the first questline to take me to the new area, and then made the mistake of detouring into a Helltide to try out a few things before I really got started.

The second I came across an enemy after exiting town, the game lagged out, locked up, and then crashed to desktop. Now I'm stuck in a 120 minute queue, too.

A couple weeks ago I thought league started on Tuesday. After waiting in line for like 15 minutes tonight I've determined it actually does start tomorrow for me :)

Was doing alright until got dc'd and stuck at start game pending screen for half hour. Lame. Visually lock looks nice but I don't find it as fun to play as pally (which feels fantastic right from start).
