Know any good way to collect tributes? It took me to ~170 paragon just to get 5...

If it makes you feel any better, it's only the "equipment" one, the others, like cube mats or charms/seals can not be "upgraded."

I don't recall ever seeing a Range stat on any skill or Aspect, like "increase AoE size". Yet, at some point last night the size of my Static Field Blizzard increased by quite a bit. Also very annoying part of Teleport is when you have it set up to drop Crackling Energy when you use it because the orbs drop about 0.5sec after you reach the end of the teleport, but you're already moving ahead, so they end up being behind you.

Since coming back at the end of S12 and going through the Vessel campaign, I hadn't bothered to unlock Mercenaries. Started up a Season Sorc the other day and decided to do that...what a game changer it is to have Subo along with you. Being able to see where all the mobs are in Helltides is SO nice. Using a bunch of Rare Charms that have +2-3 for useful skills is pretty nice, until you start wanting to use a Charm Set and all the pieces you get don't have +Skills, lol. Got a big hit of nostalgia when I saw my first Set Charm drop due that color of green. This is the first time D4 has had Set pieces like D3, right?

Out of all the Activities in the War Plans, I dislike the Infernal Horde one a lot. It needs more variety, and it is the worst offender when it comes to screen pollution since you can have such a craaaaazy amount of stuff going on at once. All the others are good. I see they've added a Beta for a different version of The Pit, called... The Tower. I guess its for the speedrunners since there is a leaderboard for it. Is there some other game mode? I heard someone in a twitch chat mention an "endless" mode, where you see how far you can get, but havent' seen anything like that yet.

If you don't like your war plans you can reroll them 3 times.

I do reroll as I got it's just sometimes it's not worth rerolling because the rest is fine but there's an infernal horde in the middle I have to path into so I have to do it. I don't like this mode too much, the options you choose all seem mostly pointless(there's a few interesting ones but a lot are just generic boring shit) and it takes too long, so if I could filter that one out it'd be nice.

I think I have rerolled every war plan I have done three times; it's always "well that one looks good but what if the next one has 3 helltides in a row."

I really didn't like D4 at launch. Did the campaign and basically never played again, but I'm kinda itching for something mindless to play occasionally.

Anyone in the same boat that can comment on how much the game has improved?

Secondary question - anyone run it on the steam deck? Heard it runs really well, so just curious how true that is with the new expac.

I dnt like it at all at launch. It now has a good game play loop for the endgame so I would recommend grabbing the expansions and firing it up.

I was waiting for a Brahma post with the skin purchase.

But that Paladin WoW skin really hits the nostalgia and purchase nerve. I know I won't play for more than a week but I really am tempted buying that skin. The FOMO that it will go away forever isn't helping. They know what they are doing milking money from fans.
