Since this season didn't have any season specific mechanics, your character will just move to the eternal server once the season ends. Normally, seasons have specific seasonal content that typically dont move to the eternal servers so your character will move to eternal just without any of the seasonal content.

What happens with your stash and stuff though? I mean if your eternal stash is filled that's not going to merge everything that you have stored or does that just get erased?

your seasonal stash will move to a tab that is remove only, so you have access to it for things you may want on eternal

My biggest aether haul so far, ended up getting an abyssal lord chaos wave and then an aether goblins one (got about 2k from the goblins). Gogo 500 gem fragments on turn-in!

So with rune words, are there any specific ones as a paladin I ought to be targeting vs just sliding high quality gems?
Don't know about Paladin specifically but for generic runes, the Wolves are really good if you need a source of reliable vuln application(and you should always have one but some builds apply vuln automatically) plus they'll freeze trash mobs constantly. The crit buff is usually better than just more main stats too if you're using crit scaling(so everything besides dot builds) and the Druid's Bulwark is a nice constant barrier(but does a lot of noise so I only used it to fight big boss fights like Mephisto/Lillith). Stat gems don't give that much so I'd say it's pretty much always worth having 2 runewords set regardless of what you play.

So are the escalation nightmare dungeons supposed to be for a group or solo? I just did my first one and I beat it, and was able to tank the demon on the Cerberus, but it took me forever to kill him. I'm running torment 8 right now, and I'm just trying to determine whether or not my damage is way lackluster, or if what's supposed to be something done as a group. I was able to tank him no problem, but it seems like a lot of the different activities and what have you at tier 8 have the hit points for guys ramped up quite a bit, when I'm starting to notice a little bit of slog with how quick I can kill stuff versus some of the earlier tiers.

Solo is fine. Knock down a tier and go from there.

Yeah I think I got a toy with my gear more. I've been trying to do the damn story missions on tier 8 for the new expansion, and I'm on the gollum of Rathma fight, and it's taking me forever to kill him. It's just so bizarre because I can smoke stuff and pretty much everything else other than some of these odd bosses here and there.

I always do escalation as a public group. You get more loot with more people in the group. No reason not to list it and have randoms pop in and help smash it.
