Dont see what the big deal is, obviously Nic Cage wasn't gonna do a TV series. I don't care when they get all swap-happy on the protagonist for a TV spinoff as long as it isn't something hilariously terrible like Queen Latifah as the Equalizer.

National Treasure 3 was waiting for the “right script”. At this point it has been so long, not surprised they might move past that. They’ll probably just turn the show into a Warehouse 13/The Librarians type show where they go around and try to find lost American artifacts/treasures, although probably make it less episodic and each season will = one treasure.
