That wasn't really my question.

I'm talking about do I need to be in the vocation that raises the stat I want right before I level to get that particular growth.

If that is true, there is no respec in the game, correct? Are you stuck with the growth that you have been playing in, OR do the stats have a cap and I can still get the max str if I level all the way to 200?

No caps that I am aware of and yes, your growth is determined by the vocation you are when you level.

You wont max your str as high as possible unless you were in the highest str vocation from 10-200 - but in DA there are rings and things that can boost your str as well.

I did my first Damon kill on PC earlier as a Ranger - i swapped from Assassin bc 10 fold arrow is ridiculous and with blast arrows its just a joke - the only easier class would be a MA with buffs.

New patch today, this should help people who were having letterbox problems in higher resolutions

Added 1366x768 resolution support
Game should no longer have intermittent controller device detection issues when multiple devices are plugged in. This should address some of the stutter and input issues reported by users including spell/charge attacks not releasing, character ceasing to run etc.
Lantern binding issue - When full lantern becomes half-full, it will still be bound to the hotkey. (previously "half full" and "empty" were treated as separate inventory items)
Cursed King's Belt - equipping this item on a male character will no longer crash the game
Adjusted audio levels - addressed the 'audio too low' issue some users encountered
VSync set to OFF by default
DirectInput controller adjustments:
Deadzone for each pad is now stored and configurable via config.ini
DualShock 4 on PC will now have the same deadzone sensitivity as on PS4
Other DirectInput gamepads will also have a much tighter deadzone as well (the same accuracy/sensitivity as on X360 gamepad)
Game logo in Photo Mode - removed artifact on the right edge of the logo watermark.
Refresh rate settings - the game will now properly detect the refresh rate set in config.ini
Key bindings - mapped "0" as the 'center camera' button.
End game credits crashing the game for some users - while this issue could not be reproduced, some changes have been made which should help reduce or eliminate the issue.

Note: the team is still looking into the 5.1/7.1 audio popping/crackling issue that some users have reported. Please stay tuned for a future update.

Dear Soygen,
Please make your pawn not sit next to me and be a bitch the entire fight.

I picked this up when PS3 released the Dark Arisen DLC bundle and played it until I "beat the last boss" I put it down for something else and came back later to check out the DLC but never made it far. I just started a NG+ on PC and holy shit is it awesome, the dungeons, the loot, and the boss battles are among the best I have ever experienced. I had no idea it would ramp up like that.

So bros who have finished this, I got some spoiler-ish questions:

is the game "over" after I defeated this dragon? Is there more actual main story/quest content in this Everfall thing, or is this all just a NG+ gear farm type of thing? Don't really wanna go read a full spoiler on it if there is more to actually do, but also don't really care to just grind some endless loot dungeon either

Everfall is an endless loot grind that is made almost entirely irrelevant by Dark Arisen. Clear the rooms and Ur-Dragon once if you want, but otherwise just move on (to the best content in the game).

DA can also turn into a loot grind if you want it to, but it's well worth clearing at least a few times.

So that's it then, dragon is dead, world has turned to shit, everything is awful? That's certainly uhhh, a bold choice.

There is a narrative end to the game in the Everfall. In fact, you could make the argument that, story-wise, almost everything that happens prior to the dragon showing up for the final battle is filler; the actual story starts at that point.

Man I wish they'd remaster this for PS4. I'd pay full price on day one. Really enjoyed this game.

Alright actually finished it. What an odd little game.

Gameplay and everything that goes with it was pretty great. Climbing monsters and stabbing them in the taint never really got old. Fighter/ranger both felt totally viable, as well as their advanced classes. Ranger probably the best due to that somersault attack just being a fucking hilarious murder ball of damage. Never actually tried mage as a PC, but they rule as pawns.

Everfall was...strange. Not sure I see the point of it really? Grinding that thing over and over for better loot when all the bosses in it fold nearly instantly without any of the mega loot in there seems pointless.

Story is paced like shit. Like 90% of the time you spend in the game is doing meaningless bear ass collecting and the like. Tons of shit doesn't even actually get acknowledged, like trying to bang the Duke's wife and getting tortured for it, then him immediately turning around and giving you the entire treasury because you're so awesome. Last like 20 minutes of the game is just a garbage dump of exposition that the rest of the game never really even mentions and just feels strange. The only clue as to what the shit is even going on is a totally option side quest with the witch lady and her pawn, so if you miss that then uhhh, good luck making even a little sense of this mess.

I didn't even know there was a faction/relationship system in the game until I read the wiki a bunch after I beat it. Is that shit ever explained anywhere and I missed it, or did they kind of just hang out there for no real reason? Why did I end up with the 12 year old witch girl as my waifu at the end and not my hot latina fishwife?

That comic is so what happened on my play through. It was a pretty appropriate ending anyway as I was playing some hulking warrior with long flowing womens hair and a giant beard. And my pawn was a tiny guy with the midget voice and I named him squeak. I carried him everywhere and would throw him into battle and then throw him over my shoulder once the fight was done.

That game was one long chuckle fest then we get to dragon and suddenly the kinda jack ass ruler guy is now my love interest. I looked at my friend and we both went hurm seems legit for our character.

i was just replaying this and was just cruising through the game, playing mostly by memory on when to do certain quests and clearly forgot a bunch of them. then i get to the dragon and fricking symone comes out. that's right, fournival's daughter. it was really pretty creepy. HOW IS SOME 10 YEAR OLD MY BELOVED? HOW IS THAT EVEN AN OPTION. it occurred to me that i did perfect on her stupid escort quest to get the golden idol, but didn't do anything else with anyone to raise their affinity with me. i was like, oh. well. i'm just gonna pretend this is some weirdo, last of us type relationship... then it switches to a cutscene by the campfire where she crawls on top of me. do not want.

I grabbed this for like 11bucks during winter sale. seems decent. Weird. screen tearing.
