I love driving off a cliff to make it somewhere.

Not sure they can make vehicle collision damage. Don't you notice, when you fly off the map to get to arakeen, harko or the DD, your thopter semi crashes as you are zoning out against the forcefield, you even hear it and the thopter turns sideways likes its going down, before you hit the loading screen.

Also shows a little of their limitations, as when you fly into basin or DD, your thopter is on the ground with you outside standing by it, like you just got out. I don't understand how in today's age they cant have you enter these areas while still flying. Just to nitpick.

Friends and I just got to steel and finally found where Ezerite is for Cobalt Paste. So, we got a buggy crafted. Holy fuck, what a complete game changer in terms of your ability to harvest ores. We usually run it as a 3 man - one dude driving, one dude on the laser, and one dude hopping out to kills mobs.

This game is fun as fuck, even though we've been taking it super slow.

That sounds like me and my friend. I just finished my buggy, haven't had the chance to use it yet. We're pretty slow too.

The game has a lot of issues that are frustrating at times, but overall I agree it's super fun.

One tip for buggy: The MK4 cutter is needed for aluminum. You can sometimes find it as a drop in the testing stations further north. Can save a bit of time

Yeah, we got an MK3 engine and MK3 PSU to drop in one of the stations that helped save us a bit of time/mats on the initial build.

Thanks for the tip on Aluminum. We're trying to rush Orni's to help with all the quests being so spread out, since a couple guys are behind on progress with contracts.

Finished the main story and the House quest line. Story gets pretty fucking weird along with the spice dreams. Kinda interesting where they are going with it.

Shit, guess I need to get off my ass and get the buggy made then. Spent most of the day moving my shit to that spot Cinge mentioned the other day at that 4 way zone intersection.

I did go up to those intel areas near the border wall. The first one I went to (that overlooks everything on top of the wall) I got my shit kicked in massively by a sniper. Went to the one a little further north and was able to kill enough to get some parts for the aluminum weapons.

Although I need more aluminum, and I need to get my water figured out. I tore everything down thinking the deadstill would give me all the water I need, but since you can't start a body without enough space, and it takes an hour, it means I have a big dead zone where I've used up water, but need to wait an hour to process. And now I'm using so much that fuck doing blood processing or dew (although maybe if I built the next tier of items for water collecting it'd be better).

I run two of the improved blood processors and then just load up on medium blood bags. I also have 1 of those 13k ML purple bags you get from one of the outpost vendors. So, I just run out, load up on like 50k ML of blood, bring it all back and let it process while I go knock out some more quests, or hop in the buggy and do an ore run.

Wind traps are also decent for generating some passive water while you're away from your base. They don't add much, but enough to keep yourself hydrated so that your other water can go to processing mats.

Wind traps are great for overnight or you are casual. Get blood when out doing combat. Get an industrial dew collector + as big/many literjons you can for the dawn time(blue area on time dial) and you can go collect a lot of water pretty fast(I only have 2 decaliterjons and a bunch of 1k ones and I get about 30k water in the 5-10 minutes of dew gathering, will go up when I get more decaliterjons). Along with the deathstills.

I think the medium water storage uses steel to make. Plop down a bunch of those so you have sufficient water capacity. Making a buggy makes steel production much easier since you can mass mine iron and carbon. Death still are good reliable water generation. Once you get to aluminum you can make decaliterjons (hold 10k water) and industrial dew reaper. I can go out during the optimal water harvest times and easily get over 80k water just from the dew plants

Planetologist perk gives 20% more dew water at max rank and you can get Reaper gloves (unique schematic) which give you are extra 10% on top of that.

Careful leaving Hagga tonight - lots of people are reporting issues where game loads forever and shutting down the game doesn't resolve

I don’t even collect blood anymore. Death Stills are the best damn thing ever.

I've been so behind. Focused on gathering, getting into duraluminum etc, that I haven't even unlocked them yet and still have so many contracts to do, finish class quests. Probably work on that next couple days, now that I have full armor/weapons.At least get as many skill points I have before I hit the deep desert.

Friends and I ended up just starting on Old Terra / Sietch Makab. I just fucking around because they had to leave town for a week.

Currently having the login issue which fucking sucks. I opened Ports on my router thinking that was the problem. Glad it's not just me. heh

Why not both? Every last drop!
Because blood weight adds up quick and that space is better used to stay out farming resources longer.

doing it this way I always have at least 150k water (into out just over 200k), more than enough.

How long does this fucking corialis sandstorm last? Or is the first one (not sure if the early access had one)?

Super obnoxious to have a constant sandstorm. Maybe that's why servers shit the bed?
