i get what you're saying but you're also retarded. it's a TLP with hot zones that are literally 200% exp. This is not OG EQ and i hope you're not actually that stupid to think it's 1999It was my brothers birthday yesterday, and he loves playing classic EQ. So, we made characters on Fangbreaker. It was insanely empty. I couldn't even fill a group for orc hill in Greater Faydar the whole time we were there. This server is DOA.
I'm actually enjoying it, the weird ass exp zones are nice. I was killing aviaks in SK for 8% a kill earlier so theres a nostalgic want to do old camps without having to sit there for 200 kills lol

Raid a few hours a week, then I dont know, play another game/server/hobby, spend time with family, hell if you refuse to do anything other then dump all your time into a single server at a time, like a weirdo, you can level up 10 alts or personas for the legacy system, or even farm plat.Whats your plan when you hit max level and no longer need xp?
I was leveling at the same time, orc chill and crushbone were full, even to the point of multiple /pickzones, this seems like some kind of user errorNot being able to field a group in one of the most heavily-used newbie zones =/= thinking it's 1999. If there's no one to group with at orc hill then that's an issue. Are 200% bonus zones even a consideration at that level? There's no POK to fast travel.
Personas are used for fast travel, seems like the resource hunter thing has been good fun so far. Frontier mountains with 5+ picks is an interesting dynamic. Not being able to field a group in one of the most heavily-used newbie zones =/= thinking it's 1999. Why do so many people want a tlp to require more of there time, just have patience, do other stuff, come back to it later when there are aa to grind
Yeah day 1 had Qeynos Hills, lavastorm and feerrott. yesterday had Paludal (cat side starts at lvl 5). I get not seeing tons of newbies on newbie hill is pretty whack but these resource hunter spots are just spreading everybody out a lot, specially with the ability to abuse getting around with personas and Nexus being openNot being able to field a group in one of the most heavily-used newbie zones =/= thinking it's 1999. What's the suggested path for leveling on a Luclin-start server anyway? With Luclin zones, potions, and a bonus, I'd expect powergamers to level AT LEAST that fast.
Luclin start servers are really fast cruises to max level. However the 50's can still be a slog if you fall behind the curve and have to compete over the best zones.
Worst case scenario is a Kunark start, leveling 1-60 with extremely limited choices for the high end. Having to do that on Teek was a trial by fire, and way more of a test than Selo which was a Fangbreaker situation.
