Unrestricted boxing with a pile of bonus free trade no level restriction loot and the fast exp has appeal. It's just not going to be a server where a bunch of actual humans have a good time playing the game with each other.

Most of the TLPers I know are over it. Between Fangbreaker, THJ lawsuit, random bans, this uninspired server is making people look for other things.

It combines Fangbreakers most unpopular rule with the most unpopular boxing rules. Which is a hilarious combination considering the things MQ2 boys hate the most are long unlocks and early era EQ.

It will be one of the biggest flops of any TLP.

In 2027 when you have a server with the full suite of quality of life additions plus two month unlocks for all expansions after Planes of Power I think you'll really have something.

Maybe, it'll depend on the 2027 TLP. They are gonna have back to back years of shit TLPs so they might actually listen to people in 2027. Doubtful but who knows.

Yeah I saw the rules, and haven't done any of those, last did I think it was the aradune server in 2020. I'll be in on this one at least to see luclin and key for VT, which was where I burned out last time.

The biggest issue with the new server is that its counter to the actual player base of TLP. The bulk of people who loved classic to pop do so because they loved to group with real people and not just box 6 chars.

The new server is going to be a boxing server. Solo people wont be able to find groups much there. If you dont plan to box 6 or more you wont like the server much for sure.

Is bard any good these days? Last tlp i did i was sk, so looking for something that can group well and be on raids. Maybe convert into a 2 box later on.

Bard is always fun, always wanted(especially in raids), in early EQ though its kind of boring and simple, especially if you have played any later bard. Picks up more and more after PoP.

Basically going to be holding a instrument(mainly drum for speed/resists) + epic until you get a songblade in PoP.
