Weird thing is some people actually like the whole commonlands tunnel trading thing. Its probably the same people who like to hire women to step on their balls with high heel shoes though.

Yep march was prefect, mid summer makes no sense. I have always said they should release two a year with differing ruleset. One in march and one in september.

SoD/UF together - Decent, this is a point where stronger guilds are doing UF but a lot of guilds struggle, so SoD would get a ton of use.
HoT/VoA together - Bad, this is the point where the pairings become a content overload and cause people to skip large amounts of it, which will then give you attrition.
RoF/CotF together - Good, because CotF is a mess and a drop-off point for population.
TDS/EoK together - Bad, this is a massive content overload, TDS's raid zone would get like no use, etc.

Rest after that are also Bad tier. But it's a cool idea for a while, and the population would probably start to drop off around when it stops being a good idea anyway (post-UF).

I like the sentiment but your pairings are weird. Any level increase expansion trivializes whatever comes before. God and oow are NOT a good grouping, nobody will sit in any god zones outside maybe some masochist doing bic. All the challenge is dead at 70 and who wants to pay 10-20k per mold or run ikkinz with oow out? You'd need to pair god with pop, as they're the same level and nobody will skip stuff like elementals and time. Likewise, por and tss, you can outright dodge por entirely. Maybe not a bad thing... but yeah tss just kills it. Then you repeat it with tbs.

So basically just take your idea and do not mismatch levels unless its at launch. Classic and kunark, then velious and luclin, then all the 65s, then either oow and don followed by dodh and por or just do all the 70s together. Then tss and tbs, then either stop bundling or only bundle sod and uf then stop.

Yeah, Mischief really made me realize that I won't set foot on another TLP that doesn't start with the Bazaar from day one. Holy fuck, I guess I was spoiled by Selo's, because I forgot how utterly fucking dogshit commons tunnel "trading" is.

God forbid. A zone full of npcs selling shit, might as well just sell it in the cash shop and remove the middle man entirely at that point.

If you actually like playing the game -- you know, kill mobs and group and raid with people you know -- spending a bunch of time trying to sell your shit to strangers who want to haggle about everything isn't very fun. Even just buying stuff is a hassle sometimes because you can't always find a seller right away or they're semi-AFK half the time. Or, buying or selling, people who completely ignore things you say in your messages.

I guess it's just a difference of opinion as to whether someone thinks haggling in EC is a core part of the game or not.

Between the drama over the casinos and OOC politics, whats not to like? Sure, there's people with zero social skills and are looking to pay under and sell over value and want to be autists but thats on you. Those who dont want to sell in EC just sell it a discount and itll be gone in 1/2 a second, bottom tier leveling items should honestly be given away instead of trying to sell to dry markets.

What's the difference between sending a /tell "I'll buy that, where are you?" and "Thanks!" after you purchase it vs. just sorting through the bazaar?

Like, I'm genuinely curious what sort of AMAZING social experiences you think you're getting out of Commons. Or is it just typical, boomer nostalgia?

I've had tons, I'm more sociable though. I like haggling and trading spreads. It's just another activity i can do in EQ, until luclin.

When the Bazaar hits i usually can't sell anything and spend most of my time offline with the trader up, while someone comes in soon after i setup to undercut everything and the cycle continues.

Damn near everything becomes easier to buy than get it, i think the game loses a lot from the Bazaar and up until recently it seems, was the general consensus.

Only one TLP ever launched in March afaik. Seven have launched in May.

I was making a general statement towards the enjoyment of the tunnel interactions. It's anxiety inducing to me to have to try to barter at all.

As for mental problem insults...I've long stated that anyone who plays this game to the degree that basically all of us does they have something damaged within them. We are all a collection of broken toys.
