This most likely will be my last TLE, the amount of money required to level fairly quick to 50 is around $120 per character. That is insane and DBG is out of their mind.

not being able to harvest all shineys slowed down my interest. (Harder for me to make plat, and level alts)

When Stormhold TLE launched, I believe vitality pots would last for several levels even in the 40s. Here one will get you PART WAY through a level in the 30s. They nerfed exp gain badly for this one, and because they suck at math it carries over to all the pot bonuses. Or maybe they're better at math than I thought $$$ ;)

That said, I really love my channeler. It's everything a pet class should be. I'm marked as a healer type, but at 20 I get this insane AE that hits harder than most people's single target stuff. No cooldown, no power cost, it just uses the channeler heat mechanic.


TIP: research your master strike as soon as you hit 20. At level 20 it takes a matter of hours, but later on takes much longer.

lol they dont suck at math, they are trying to get more money. They are better than SOE ever was at trying to drain your wallet.

I remember when I took forever to level in games because I explored and looked around and had fun, now I am salty when I can't be max level within a week of the server opening.

Yeah I remember going all over looking for quests and everything like that. Was a lot more fun but can't seem to do it anymore knowing how slow I'm progressing

Yeah I've dedicated every bit of free time I have to playing this and it seems like I'm 15 levels behind at least.

edit: and not even sure if ACT is still the parse program of choice. But it was getting kind of ridiculous. I app'd to NPU at one point and auditioned, as it were. They simply measured my stats on ACT. I am not the sharpest dude on the block, but I am still reliable and was playing a lot those days. But no matter. ACT said I was 10% less dps than another coercer app.

I always wondered, do these people parse everything? Do they hook up ACT to their jaws as they eat dinner? "Hah, I was masticating 15.7 protein mass per chew, you only were hitting, at best, 13.8. My teeth outparse you."

I found that end result of parse madness so sad.

Hey what's up Sadre. I remember playing with you. You and Razlin we're the two Coercer/Illusionists in the guild at the same time I think.
I think I was the only Warlock for a bit after Cosmic bounced.

The ACT parses we're out of hand. It was a dick-measuring contest through and through. Fortunately as a warlock any pull that was more than 1 mob was basically butter for us.
