Some people were testing and I think it ended up Zerker>Offensive>Striker, even with full combat classes. If you're not zerker Striker and Offensive may be a closer choice.

Never run Monk in EQL. Are people using Striker or Offensive?
Tried it (only level 23), but using Striker and /autoability on all your skills, the damage gets frontloaded and your mob is suddenly from full to half health. But then all abilities are on cooldown, so Offensive stance is now better.

You could stance dance: Striker -> use all abilities -> Offensive and wait until they are back up, but ... I have no patience to micromanage that. I'd rather watch something on the second monitor when leveling. Maybe later for hard bosses.

Class tokens and race tokens are insane grinds for a normie casual which is what this version was aimed at.
We don't know how to earn more class tokens after the first at level 50, but race unlocks are ranging either easy or a bit expensive:

Example Wood Elves: Buy 400 muffins from a vendor, stuff them into an NPC in West Freeport. Buy 400 white wine, stuff it into another NPC in West Freeport. For high elves it's the same, but also stuff 400 bat wings into another NPC in Felwithe. Buy them at a vendor in West Freeport.

No, we know how to unlock classes already. You do all their PoSky quests.

PoS grind is horrible, but at least it's not locked out like raid instances. Once you can full clear you just kind of do that over and over hoping to get the pieces you need for the classes you want.

From the tooltips, it seems like the extra damage you get from both costs the same amount of endurance per extra point of damage. Once I saw that, I just put whichever stance would turn yellow bar into damage faster. For rogue, striker is streaky like Neranja was saying and later on I found sticking with offensive game a more even damage curve while still not capping out on endurance. Having a more predictable time to kill makes it easier to plan mana / sustain during some of the longer slog kills.

That's the thing it's a massive grind and takes lots of inventory.

It's not casual friendly unless you're swiping your credit card.

This type of thing fits the neckbeard that has played no other game than EQ since 99 but to market it as casual EQ is a lie.

Marketing it as a love letter to EQ fans when they're going to make their own expansions is not a love letter to EQ fans. People consider up to Velious as classic EQ, they're talking about not even doing Velious.

I also seen some of the items posted from the revamped zones and they're busted for the level range.

It's not EQ it EQ Remix.

I'm goofin around on monk using the Heirophant's crook as a weapon. I'm always out of endurance because it is so heavy but it doesn't seem to matter much.

Class unlocks should have been tied to items around the world vs just 100% sky quests. Some classes have iconic drops from PoS, so maybe have one of the drops a sky weapon or something, but it's a miss to not require like, Ghoulbane to unlock paladin, etc. It would give you something to do vs just setting up in sky and killing bosses if you want to try a novel trio.

Also the race unlocks just being mass turn ins is lame. Even the new Froglok quest is just turn in a shit load of phosphorus powder, so even the new quests for race unlocks are boring 'turn in 800 random things'.

I think the expansion unlock system in THJ was a lot more interesting. Kill all bosses for expansion or turn in x iconic loot drops from that expansion to unlock the next. Felt much more interesting than what we have so far.
