I'm going Human Monk/Rogue/something. (I tried Ranger, Druid, and Bard as a third but was underwhelmed each time, at least at lower levels.) I'll end up going with whatever third class seems fun and fuck the flavor-of-the-day meta.

Wiz at level 18 gets Garrison's, which is super OP. Throw some motes in it and grind some crit spell AA and mobs just melt in a single nuke.

i skipped this beta, do all the towns have spell merchants for every class? pretty sure im gonna start a wood elf then unlock human before 11 to do a WE Monk primary + sk/shm, where do you get the SK shit then? freeport sewers?

Nope. Same as always, except for the new Iksar camp in North Ro. That place does have all class spells merchants. Get a toon up to 25 in Sneak (just swap a rogue, monk, bard, etc for two minutes).

Way back in the day when I was a baby half elf ranger (shutup!), I always thought Troll Shadow Knights looked so badass. Going Troll SHD/ENC, still undecided for the third, probably WIZ so I can get the full 40% cast, cooldown reduction stance. Seems pretty helpful trying to cast mezzes while tanking a few mobs

With no healer, you'll be spending a ton of time in Divine Invocation, but still a strong trio.

Not sure if this will change much but think we could get a poll or listing just to see where the different groups/guilds at launch? I believe most of our Lanys crew is going to Neriak and/or Freeport. Our small crew will definitely be Neriak unless something crazy happens

You'll probably want a priest class in there. If Enchanter already, add Druid for great mobility, damage shield, strong DoT, and pretty good heals.
