Preorder starts 6/16. The preorder beta server is live on 7/1. That beta server is temporary and will be getting a full wipe when live launches. The OG alpha and beta server gets moved to test server whenever that goes live.
I will preorder to secure my name for live. Might do a quickie ber/sk/pal for the preorder alpha, since the current server is going to be down for a few weeks.

Wouldn't surprise me if actual launch is pushed into early August, but that's W/E.
I'm curious if they will publish preorder numbers? I'm sure its thousands of people who will do it in order to secure names and dick around with builds.

I don't see any reason to play this on release. Balance is still ass. There's no real content and new stuff is half a year away. Wait for the shit to settle and make a decision closer to Kunark.

Always a valid option. As is never playing. I am going to play from day 1 because I want to, and am still having a lot of fun with it. I will get my 2-3 months out of what we have + whatever gets put in between now and reaching +10 BIS endgame.
From what I understand Sky is going to have solo instances, and they will be on 1hr lockouts. Pretty much making it all 100% available to everyone from the outset. Sky will also still have open world bosses and the whole shebang.
