That's kinda the point bro. This isn't a new game. It doesn't have large development costs. They aren't creating an entirely new world, classes, art, ect. They're reusing assets and making minor tweaks to what other EMUs have already built. It's just a mod, reskin, re-release type game. So let's compare it to those. Things like WoW Classic/SoD No Box Price, just Sub and minimal cosmetic MTX tied to expansions, D2R Box Price+one DLC, EMUs(Classic WoW/EQ) No Box/Sub, MTX or Donations only, with MTX almost always slanted heavily towards cosmetics. Even EQ TLPs which are by far the most ergegiously monitzed game i've played like this are only sub+Micro, no box price.
They're just shit testing to see how much bullshit people will put up with and the cucks in this thread are failing the shit test badly.

Wow ran box + sub + shop for years and years. They did the trifecta more than they didnt. Their removal of box cost was tied to overhauls in their whole marketing mechanics; if eql wanted to restructure their own financials to be able to easily integrate asians maybe the box would go away, but that makes NO sense for eql the way it did for wow.
Wow isnt set up to monetize bags the way eq is so they dont. If wow had been designed such that bags were a mostly luxury good and not already portioned into the game, it'd have been in their shop too.

I mean, they can afford it, but they can't control themselves and blame everyone else for their weakness. They're also looking for ANY type of angle to get the "winning blow" in the argument against Secrets and Co/DPG, but they don't have one. There's small shit that's getting changed week to week so they don't even have that to fall back on. They have to invent some explotive spooky thing that's going to bankrupt all these adults with fucking jobs who can't control themselves buying 40 slotters!!!!!!! BUT YOUR MORTGAGE PAYMENTS, ROGER! Most of it is just butthurt from who knows what. Criticizing actual game design is one thing, but whenever they keep bringing up hypotheticals that aren't factual as their basis for the game being exploitive or whatever, it just proves they're flailing their arms and screeching like the weird fucking kid in elementary school they probably were and never grew out of. It's just fucking embarassing when it's 50 year old men doing this.

Again. Not talking about Live WoW now or 20 years ago. I'm talking about the WoW Classic servers, Season of Discover ect. They don't have a box price and never did. There is no reason for them to have a box price, because there is little to no development cost to justify one. EQL is the same way. It's not a brand new game like WoW was in 2004 that was already millions of dollars in the hole at release.
They absolutely could monetize bags in WoW Classic the same exact way they do on TLPs. They don't do it because it's a scummy retard phone game practice that drives customers away.

Having large bags in the Cash shop and none that drop in the game is gameplay design, it's shit gameplay design and even you know that's true.
EQL randomly mentioned in the frostreaver thread and the bitch signal lights up the sky for MrCryGuy to come to the rescue.

A fair point we don't know if they will be in the shop.
But given EQ history would you say it's fair to assume that they will be? I'd love to be proven wrong seriously I would, but can you in good faith say odds are they won't be in the shop?
Also I have no problem with microtransactions when it comes to things that do not effect gameplay. Bags effect it and EQ has a history of selling the largest bags for 20+ dollars, something as crucial as bags shouldn't be locked behind a pay wallet after buying the game and paying a subscription.
I fail to see how my take is some radicalized point of view.
