I enjoyed the hell out of THJ, and I've been enjoying the hell out of this too. I didn't find original EQ until 2002, maybe early 2003 (right before PoP launched), so playing "classic" era has actually been a treat and quite novel for me. THJ I didn't hop in until they were halfway through Velious, so I missed the early game there too, and just skipped straight to a lot of the newer stuff I was more familiar with. I have 5 classes to 30/31 and have probably spent the most time doing faction farming for race unlocks than anything. Can't get that cunt khajiit on the boat to give me his quest in Kerra Isle to complete that unlock though.

Gentlemen, I know that the target audience has a median income where they can afford 20 USD now and then. I have /played 8 days since release and show me a single player beating this ratio. I have really no issue shelling out 20 bucks for an Xpac every 6 months.

Stop being a poor. It's worth it for how much fun you'll have!

Sure, you're going to be in it for like $300 by the time Kunark is out, but it's cheaper than groceries.
LOL its not really about being poor, its the fucking point. How many times do I have to buy these "expansions" where they take a few zones and add some same mobs just with different names to and call them new? I bought this shit in like 1999-2000.

Link your Steam library and let's see where you've NEVER bought a Remake after buying the original....

Yes, fair. But, you're choosing to play it again now and for the company to supply the game costs them money. Maybe a lot hasn't changed and the total amount of work going into EQL isn't significant, but its a fuck-ton more entertaining than any movie you could see in the theatre (which would be a $30-$50 trip for 90 minutes).

Revamped zones. New item progression system. New spell progression system. Multi-classing. QoL improvements to the client.

Sure, may not be much to anyone who has never actually done game development, but the armchair game developers in this thread are NOTORIOUSLY ignorant and moronic.

Kunark is freeware now, has been for decades. Another thing about it that people missed. "Diety Achievements" are on the timeline for summer, but the inventory space/loadout achievements they promised you guys are nowhere to be found. Just clearly hoping your goldfish brains forgot about it.
