Just found about this server.

sucking me in hard

druid monk for the lols, not sure what I will add once I get 10. Can I add a plate class and not mess up my monk?

Yeah add a paladin or SK. PAL/MNK/DRU or SK/MNK/DRU are both solid.

I got sucked in a few days ago too. It's fun. Playing DRU/PAL/ENC right now but may swap PAL for SK to get access to FD and taps.

It's probably not helping THJ popped up again and no one cares. I even liked THJ and I don't care. That's gotta sting.

Despite the months of dooming before this launched, it's been pretty chill. The end game has some clear limitations, but seems like new content is just on the horizon.

And you have to generate X amount of social media content per month for them. It's something like 8 pieces of content a month which can be streams or 30 second youtube shorts or whatever.
Also, Brasse wants to see your driver's license.

They just need to fix motes. Fuck off with 6 different types. The need 2 and the raid mote. The need to drop reliably across the game. They need to be craft-able across all trade skills.

Motes as content is the worst design possible. Secretes could do better.

If motes weren't the thing to grind for... what would be the point of playing once you're raid geared?
I think he just wants less types/ranks, no reason to make it convoluted for gear, when it's simple for spells

If all motes are the rank 1 mote and they just drop like candy from d4 and you have to just upgrade them at the blob to use em higher... that sounds tedious and takes away a lot of the oh cool when a higher one drops. Simpler for sure though.

I suppose I understand that, but I do think not being able to really upgrade gear beyond 7/8 with normal motes is kind of a good system so the nolifers can't be full +10 already with DDD farming in fear.

Just make all the notes worth difrent amounts of XP, so you can use any more on gear without upgrading at the guy, just like how spells work

I never thought the game would be bad. I said I'd never play this because of the monetization scheme which is bonkers. If this had a $30 box price, one and done, I would've played it.

I think the servers usually reflect a population of players that are in their late 30s/40s that have a job and kids. The US servers have been uniformly high during normal playing hours every time I've looked.

Even at the peak hours the number of people that are working is about 70% and that doesn't include retired, unemployed, people that can play at work, people in EU and stay at home parents. Easily 50% of the playerbase is awake and able to play, the game is just not that popular. Hitting okay numbers at peak hours matters, it's even more important than non peak, but the rest of the day also matters. You can cry about it all you want. It's still a fact.
