Amtrak and faceless are going to be the hardcore guilds that race and try for firsts and have way more loot than anyone. Who is better or will win is a debated matter for now. If you liked faceless before you should probably have a good time here too.

I think gear isn’t gonna be that tough. You basically can skip straight to gearing up in Kael or maybe even NTOV. This era just had a ton of gear by Luclin. Monks were the best melee anyway and they don’t need much gear.

If I was making a rush guild I would have my first priority be to get the ST key dragons on cool down first because there is no more plentiful source of melee weapons than those and getting your melee to a point where you can start doing Ssra keys and vt is critical

Wizard and necro should have a good run here since you basically get two xpacs in a row where mana burn and life burn help a ton on the cutting edge.

I think its going to be easier then that.

With xp doubled you dont need to be as leveling efficient. Make your leveling routes based a little around tradeskilling just a little but and funnel your plat and materials to a few crafters.

You could grind a few levels at rockhoppers in DPS for instance for tailoring mats.

With more named mob pops on selos I would group in Cazic Thule after 55 which has a ton of good loot and save all the lizard bloods etc for making sets of Tae Ew gear. With multiple picks of Cazic Thule going you would be decently geared out in crafter stuff and other misc drops in no time.

This likely to have some temp anniversary xp bonus to start it off? Vaguely remember something like that with previous TLPs

That's not the version that has the Tae Ew crafting.

it will be interesting. I think you will see the best guilds mostly just skip gear grinds though and focus on raid gear and keys. Getting to 60 fast, put Velious in lockout and then move into ssra and vt shard
camps is the only real path. The only time being in a poor xp zone is worth it is if you are there for a shard and xp.

Hot zones are disabled. They monkeyed around with the ZEMs around the time Coirnav launched. I don't think there is a definitely list anymore of what they are. You'd have to go test different zones yourself if you wanted to see which was better/worse.

Unrest was still amazing zem on agnarr despite people saying it changed.

I don't remember anyone flipping out so it was probably nothing too crazy. Shave down a couple of the outliers a little and bump a few of the underused zones. I think Blackburrow got a big bump but that zone has issues with mob density and level variance. There's not really enough stuff to support many people and many spawns can just be a basic gnoll when you're looking for guardsman and commanders.

one thing I just thought of too is we will have mounts from the start. Big advantage to outdoor zone leveling is there a min level for store mounts?

CoM sucks now. Tried to molo some there on live the other day and the exp was god awful. A year before it was fantastic.

The Corinav tweaking fucked the standard leveling zones.
