Pretty sure he's plowing every field in the village. Afaik the manga is very open about it being his harem whereas in the anime he acts like he's in denial about what's going on and I think it ends up being a bit funnier that way.
In the manga he starts out that way, but ultimately the maids and elves explain that vampire and angel are all in agreement that he is going to be plowing a lot of fields.
