Just finished up Gundam 08MS.
tbf I haven’t watched any gundam since maybe 2003? But I will say this is way more adult, grounded, and better written than what I remember Gundam Wing or Mobile Fighter G Gundam were.
It’s Gundam set in Vietnam - ish setting with all the grit and war crimes that come with Vietnam-era. Very impressed with it.
except the last episode felt more like an epilogue or post script
Story made to reach episode count rather than push the plot forward

I'm just glad he finally took the plunge. The show fixated on how evil Gram was for a bit too long and I was expecting to see some drowned kittens and abused slaves at some point to try and force the decision even harder. He's even fat, dude! Just kill him already, please!! But my mom and sis may know I killed people in this fantasy land because I will have the eyes of a murderer!!! No!!!!!!!

Just started this show today. Couldn't stop the binge and went 1.to 8 in one sitting lol.
Great show, has no right to be so well animated for a slice of life isekai lol
