I went to ESPN, they usually have golf scores front and center up top during majors.

It was showing fucking cricket. What the motherfuck? I wanted to clear my history more than after a savage and shameful jerk session to the most depraved tranny horse midget gorilla porn...

Really pulling for my man Mahan today - would be good for a Poke to win the Open. Course is playing unbelievably tough. Horschel, what the fuck is with these pants HAHAHA.

Great, brutal tourney. Second again for big Phil. Good for Rose, played great golf today.

What a great finish to this Open. Was sad not to see Phil win it. Thought for sure after that eagle on 10 he would use that as momentum to keep going and win it. God damn he had a lot of putts lip out.

The putter used to win the US open is the one I got last week. Now if only I could get it to work like that...

I would hate to see my score over 4 rounds at Merion with Rose winning with a +1. Have to wonder if I would have any clubs left by the end of it.

How about hitting a 98 yard sand wedge from the tee, watching it hit the green, and then end up somewhere in the rough 50 yards away?

Heart breaking.

Well to be fair you probably wouldn't ever play it like it was set up by the USGA for the US Open. Your score would be high but that's due more to skill then the course. The fairways were moved and shrunk by the USGA. The greens are always way faster and the pin placements are way different for every day playing. Also I suspect for members its a par 72 course instead of 70, but I am just guessing about this.

So who is everyone's pick for the Open this weekend. I want to believe Tiger will win it, but I can't get there. Lefty played well in the Scottish open last week, and while he has never done well back to back like that, I think he might actually win it this weekend.

Meant to post a pick earlier this week, but got caught up with work. Woods should take this down if he plays well today.

Great round of golf by Lefty. Woods continues to struggle over the weekend in a major. Killer instinct, extinct.

I didn't look at the winner till it got cut off. Huge win for Mickelson. Back to back even.

Was a great round of golf for Lefty. I am glad he won today. I agree with what he said afterwards, was probably the best round of golf he has ever played.

Good pick Gankak. I bet on 5 players (Zach Johnson, Stenson, Snedeker, Spieth, Rory) and came pretty close but I was really afraid of Phil going into it... probably should have taken him but the odds weren't favorable. It kind of sucks for Phil that he's so relatively underrated because he's stuck playing in Tiger's era. He's just flat out better than everyone other than Tiger and there's usually not much recognition of it (media is constantly trying to catapult people up to Tiger status without even mentioning Phil -- any young stud would be lucky as fuck to ever get to Phil's level).

Its not that he has played in Tiger's era that make the odds bad for him. Its those moments he still has where he does the absolute worse thing possible in a given situation. As an example the 2006 US Open at Winged Foot. Lefty is up by 3 with 2 to play. And comes home double bogey/bogey to lose because he tried going for the green on 17 from the trees and compounded the problem. However what makes him Phil is when he does those things and it works, like his last Masters win where he hit that shot from the pine straw on 13 to 5 feet from the pin.

Phil really does get the short end of the stick, this morning most of the headlines are about Tiger instead of Phil winning
