French press's are great for coffee; don't forget you can do Tea or Mate in it too.

After the glass in that one breaks all over the damn place at the worst time, or you find that your coffee's only luke warm within minutes after you brew it one too many times, don't forget they make double wall stainless steel vacuum insulated versions to.

The downsides are a slightly higher price tag and you won't just randomly find them at GoodWill.
