It's funny, the other day I was thinking that most of the time tsunami warnings amount to nothing. I believe this one will create a pretty catastrophic tsunami.

Reading about it, that spot has some of the biggest earthquakes in history.

1737 earthquake which had tsunamis estimated at 66-98ft
1841 earthquake which had a 15ft tsunami in Hawaii, 49ft elsewhere
1951 earthquake 49-59ft tsunami

All estimated to be in the 9.0+ range
