What was the point of trying to get the photographer to change his testimony to say he knew who some of the people were? Seems irrelevant.

Sounds like these DAs should be disbarred for this shitshow.

It seems like they were trying to discredit the photographer by having him attached to another case where he "Knew" someone?

I don't fucking know.

It seems like 1 of 2 things:

The State was building a case against another person, the arsonist and wanted a positive ID from this photographer in regards to the arsonist.

OR

The state was trying to discredit the photographer by having him attached to this other case as "Knowing a person of interest in an arson case"

Either way it was fucking horrible, why would you question a witness, who isn't attached to the case in ANY way other than being a witness, in a hostile way...regarding information that has no relation to the case you are currently in court to resolve.
