What I'm getting: This whole thing is basically a spook op to send the message to people that you are not to resist violent mobs, lest you be demonized or imprisoned. But also, it's sending the even more insidious message that the violent mob members who charge and try to kill the resister... are the ones who are going to be celebrated and enshrined as heroes.

The message is being received by the NPCs, the intended audience. I'm pretty sure Stalin had a playbook for this stuff somewhere.

When charges came down on those two lawyers for pointing weapons at violent protestors that broke through a gate on to their property the message was loud and clear.

Just let it happen.

Here's what NBC News has to say in their front-page headline article. Notice how they capitalize Black but not white
This is the reason for that - saw it come up last year or year before. Explaining AP style on Black and white

AP’s style is now to capitalize Black in a racial, ethnic or cultural sense, conveying an essential and shared sense of history, identity and community among people who identify as Black, including those in the African diaspora and within Africa. The lowercase black is a color, not a person. AP style will continue to lowercase the term white in racial, ethnic and cultural senses.

We also now capitalize Indigenous in reference to original inhabitants of a place.

These decisions align with long-standing capitalization of distinct racial and ethnic identifiers such as Latino, Asian American and Native American. Our discussions on style and language consider many points, including the need to be inclusive and respectful in our storytelling and the evolution of language.

After a review and period of consultation, we found, at this time, less support for capitalizing white. White people generally do not share the same history and culture, or the experience of being discriminated against because of skin color. In addition, AP is a global news organization and there is considerable disagreement, ambiguity and confusion about whom the term includes in much of the world.

I mean, if self-defense is no longer an option, might as well go for a high score if you're going to get railroaded either way.

This is why I never understood suicide. If you are going to go, at least take a few with you.

First things I see when I turn on a computer this morning. Jesus Christ, these people are disgusting. Also the same news agencies that interpreted a 2002 UN "Iraq don't have nothin" report as "UN confirms WMDs".

Fuck I'm angry

That reminded me that I need to get back to checking the front page of Yahoo to see what the normies are being fed.

As you might imagine, the defense's claim played fast and loose with the truth. Pinch-to-zoom on all devices may use algorithms, but only to scale the image — it doesn't change the content itself. This was an attempt to prevent the jury from getting a clearer view of the action, not a genuine challenge to the integrity of the video.

The challenge was the feature adds information to the footage which it does. The algo fills in data.

But that aside look at how the headline of a "news" article is written. When you pop inside the article itself it doesn't get any better.

When judges and law enforcement don't understand how technology works, they may set unrealistic expectations or even skew the outcome of a case.

So the judge didn't understand how the technology works? That's not the impression I got.

I'd like to see a third Conan movie (yeah I know there have been others but I mean like a canon third) following up on King Conan and the "story for another time", with Arnold reprising the role and giving us one last gritty performance as he defends his kingdom against whatever.

Then again, if we did get such a movie, Conan would probably take a backseat to a new sassy female character played by Zendaya, who'd do all the important stuff while Conan himself bumbled about. Hilarious!

I am now leaning towards cameras and media no longer being allowed in trials not involving public servants. Private citizens should have to go through this trial by media horsehit especially if they have been aquited/found not guilty/whatever. It made sense in an earlier less technologically saturated time but now the lawyers play the trial for that media coverage, headlines, and social media trends.

But I ain't gonna argue about it because it's like a 49/51 split and I don't feel that strongly about it.

All the sham trials and crazy riots blessed by the left are the anarcho tyrany phase of the attempted takeover of a new dictatorship. Like what commies nazis and fascists do

When Trump was in office this made sense, slowly build a coup.

Now that dems are in charge, continuing the slow-build of a coup (while constantly saying it's the other side doing that) doesn't make a lot of sense. Unless they expect to be blown out in 2024 and want to be ready to cause as much strife as possible. Or they want to just slowly shift all the power away from regular people regardless of who is in charge.

I don't understand the "why" behind any of this but there's definitely a big picture being formed here.

I think the most frustrating thing is most of those "journalists" are basing their opinion on a short clip or screenshot of the moments he got emotional during the trial. They likely aren't seeing the beginning where his body is clearly uncontrollable convulsing, which causes him to start heaving, which causes him to straighten his back and stretch back to push his chest out in an attempt to open his lungs because he is literally struggling to breath as he goes through a PTSD episode. These people are either so sheltered they've never seen someone experience that or they are just evil, vindictive monsters. Either way, dismissing that scene as "crocodile tears" is a clear display of who doesn't belong in polite society.

That isn't a bad idea actually...

Have her ruling the Kingdom but it fall into ruin because she tried to lead with kindness and love and ended up having the kingdom ripped apart from with in by corruption, ineptitude, and the barbarians (so to speak) already allowed to pass the gates. Third act has her father, King Conan, coming out of self imposed exile to bring back order and stability to the kingdom...

by stacking bodies and heads in pyramids so tall that they colour the clouds with a tinge of dried blood.

Edit: I know it wouldn't happen but I think an entertaining movie could be made out of the basic concept

Just let it happen.

Don't even call them protestors. That's the language of the word-redefiners.

It was a violent mob that accosted them while they were having dinner, after smashing through their gate.

And yeah, "just let it happen" seems to be the message from top to bottom, whether you're a beagle or a woman who plays sports. I can't believe we have an entire political party that seems to think it's okay to put men into a women's prison. Fuck women, huh?

Third option is that they're saying what they're told to say by the 12 people that own all of these media networks. "Journalists" do what they're told, even if it means the entire news apparatus is victimizing a TEENAGER.

I saw a clip of Crowder showing Rittenhouse's PTSD episode. Crowder looked like he felt legitimately awful watching it. That guy, who I keep hearing is a "nazi", has more heart than any of these news networks do. He also went on a tirade against Gofundme and a few other organizations and it was tremendous, but now I can't find the clip. I assume it's part of his overall episode from yesterday.

this is a decent response to people who claim kyle is a bad person

the snakes can not even imagine someone being as heroic and selfless as Kyle.

the whole thing is worth a watch. but man, listen to Pakmans response to Destiny at the 15min mark.
Pakman goes off about how a teenager going around wanting to help people and offer medical aide is a failure of American society. and how at 17 he could not even imagine helping people.

its just a window into how these vile pieces of shit think. They can't even FATHOM helping someone else. And thats how you become a journalist.

You are looking at the scale wrong. this isn't some democrat vs republican vs neocon puppet show. i'm saying that they want to destablize america so much one of their globalist plans can come to fruition. fracture america. break it. try to absorb it into some kind of globalist faction. maybe china, maybe eu, maybe some pan-american-lgbt conglomrate. i mean that they intend to fracture america so much they can seize power and desolve seperation of powers. Place the aristrocracy in charge of the new dictatorship.

THIS is what the nazis (socialists), the commies, fachists and the islamists do. create havoc. let their footsoldiers wreck their oposition. sieze power when everyone else is too terrified to stand up, or are all dead. then install year zero with only the beautiful people having full rights.

that's why.

This is the typical bullshit you always hear. Tell that to the Slavs, the Irish, it goes on and on. Everyone has had periods of severe discrimination. It's just straight racism to claim it hasn't happened to White people

A country in the midst of mass civil unrest has problems projecting power outwards. I’d wager a country like China knows this, and is stoking fires with the powers that be here. After all, why go to war with your enemy when you can get your enemy to tear itself to pieces.

I'm not giving Pakman any more of my eyeball time than is necessary but I caught the two minutes.

The riots of 2020 were a massive failure of the social contract with the media and politicians amplifying that failure that advance their own agendas. I don't want to see a seventeen year old kid protecting local businesses or providing first aid but if Pakman wants the state to be responsible for those things than the state needs to uphold their end of the bargain. During these mostly peaceful protests around the country dozens of people were murdered and billions of dollars of property damage inflicted.

Making fun of the kid for wanting to apply his first aid training is embarrassing and the continued effort is made to paint Kyle as some outsider that "crossed state lines" when he worked in Kenosha, had friends in Kenosha and his father lives in Kenosha. The distance between Antioch and Kenosha is the equivalent for I think most people as the next town over. They're not far away from each other.
