I'm baffled by that too. I assume if I was paying more attention it would make sense. How could it possibly be important who those new people were that he had met? If it is, then why can't the photographer just do like a new statement and say since that time, I've learned the identities of these people? Seems like an idiotic power play if that's all

Ehh. Lawyers can correct me, but it doesn't matter how many times you tell the jury that refusing to testify doesn't mean you're guilty, some of them will see it that way. Without the defendant testifying, it's their word against nobodies. I'm hoping the lawyers know there are too many of those types in the jury. And if the prosecutor gets up there and bullies the kid I think that looks even worse for the prosecutors. Hopefully Kyle can cry if that happens.
