saying that evil actions are excusable because they're era/setting appropriate is like saying its okay for ISIS to execute homosexuals because its what happens all over the middle east and its been going on for 1500 years.

Last couple of pages have been gold.

Shit covered gold, but gold nonetheless.

Lot of Tyrion fanboys who can't except the fact he was a total failure in Mareen it seems. We all love that dwarf but just deal with the reality he failed hard in Mareen. His world view of being able to negotiate his way to a better non violent solution crashed into the reality that the masters saw him as weak.

Cer-C, Jamie, Tryion are all undergoing rapid character growth right now the Jamie and Tyrion stories are actually the most interesting characters to me at the moment. I can see where Jamie is heading. Tyrion on the other hand is just finishing his Mareen failure and hasn't started to make the change of direction that will likely result from that failure. So Tyrion is a big question mark. ZerSe is very likely in her final death spiral, I don't see her dying next week but she will likely die within the first few episodes of next season.

whether we find her actions excusable or not is entirely based on todays norms in society. in a monarchy, what the queen does to agitators is neither good or bad its just what they do. its like ned stark and jon snow hanging deserters and children without a trial because its up to them to restore order in the way they see fit. Westeros PD isnt going to show up and stop them.

As lords and captains they are judges, and gave trials. Its just in these systems, the wardens, captains, lords are judge, jury and executioner in one.
Also, what she did is not even excusable in the world she lives in. hence the fucking trials and her being put on the walk of shame by the Septum, AND the fucking wars fought over her treason, regicide, and murdering Ned to keep the treason and incest secret.

Everything she did is highly treasonous even as Queen, and she is only alive, because she murdered everyone that stood against her.

This is why Astro is so amusing as a bad poster. He makes a mistake and just continues to stand by it past the point of absurdity.

Game of Thrones ratings at record high: 23 million viewers | EW.com

U.S. viewership of the HBO fantasy hit have now surpassed 23 million viewers episode when all forms of viewing are counted (that's originals, repeats, DVR and streaming).

Even with the season not yet finished and data still incomplete, that tally is up 15 percent from season 5, which was the show's previous record holder.
Among adults 18-49 - a demo not tracked by HBO, yet interesting to look at nonetheless -the drama is often beating all other cable and broadcast shows(last week's episode delivered a 3.9 rating in the demo).
And viewing on HBO Now and HBO Go digital platforms shot up 70 percent over last season (2.5 million streams).
Shocked they are going to bring it to an end in 1.5 more seasons. HBO execs have got to want to keep riding this train.

God damn dude. Ned didn't just cut heads off because he was agitated or because he wanted to. He did it because it was the fucking law and he was the Warden of the North.

Of all the retarded ass shit you've posted in this thread Astr0, this 'Cersei isnt a villain' bullshit is by far the worst.

*edit*

Astr0 logic: Hey guys, Joffrey wasn't a villain because kings can do whatever they want!!!
