He'll just escape and cartwheel down the side of the pyramid, then ride his pig into Dany's audience chamber for the callback to Tywin's crapping horse.

or maybe when tyrion sees drogon flying above their raft, he whistles for him and drogon swoops down and he maniacally hops on and is brought to dany like a prince instead of a prisoner!

but how? in season 1 wasnt the wight that attacked mormont already inside the wall? how did that come back?
When the Night's Watch found him they brought his body back to Castle Black, then it reanimated. So it kind of implied that they can't cross the Wall on their own power, they can be moved across. Think of it like vampires or some shit not being able to cross a threshold without being invited or something. But that is only for Wights. Whose to say about the actual WWs.

I always figured the WW's animation of corpses worked almost like a disease, so the WW's require pretty close proximity to "infect" the corpse, so to speak, but then the corpse can reanimate pretty much anywhere after a certain incubation period and can move as far as it wants from the WW's (at least until it rots away).

What if a traveling red priest revives Selmy so that we can have an undead Selmy vs Mountain Golem fight!

Haha imagine if the token asian woman shows up and gives Selmy a 96% after having sex with Tyrion.

Tyrion is too small to ride Drogon without a saddle. He'd probably get carried around in his mouth.

I liked the stories he told Dany about her brother Rhaegar. Especially since he was telling them to her so as to teach her lessons along the way. By all accounts Rhaegar was a bad mother fucker and was pretty well loved by the common folk. People were really looking forward to him being king one day. Then shit hit the fan and he got smashed at the trident. I would LOVE to see a mini-series based on the events of Roberts rebellion. There could be some really good shit there to see.

P.S. I wasn't too disappointed with how Barristan Selmy went out. He may have been one of the greatest fighters of all time but father time has a way of catching up to all of us. He wasn't a 25 year old Kings Guard anymore he was an old man whose better days were behind him. He still went out like a warrior though and took a bunch of enemies with him to hell.

Yeah I know, which is why I linked a picture of the Vale. I'm just saying that Tyrion will probably be put in a crazy Mereen cell and then have to use his wit to escape it. Bonus points if it involves nearly being eaten by the dragon he'll end up riding.
My guess is she simply tells him and friendzone to simply fuck off. Then the two hang out in local bars brothels of Mereen tell the Varys finally arrives with a offer requiring Tyrion. Friendzone then becomes Bron 2.0.

Tryion is simply a drunken midget with a very large bounty on his head at this point. All his past power moves were based upon him having the last name of Lannister. A family that now wants him dead, Varys having a use for him is the only thing giving him any value in the game.

Tyrion is still arguably one of the smartest and most knowledgeable people in the world. All the books he's read, he probably still knows a great deal about Essos even though he's never been there until now. I'm sure he'll know the various customs/strengths/history of a lot of neighboring areas which will not only allow Daenarys to use politics to build her empire (or attempt to), but he'll know their weaknesses for military advantage as well. Basically if he's not completely fucking drunk the entire time and is somehow motivated to assist her, he's the ultimate ally for her at this point.

I have difficulties linking Jonathan Pryce's 'pope francis-ish' Great Sparow to the fanatic scum he is supposed to lead...

I agree completely. I feel like there's a missing scene of Cersei and the High Sparrow sitting down together like they've done before.

The High Sparrow keeps his cool, talks about piety and says all the bullshit stuff.

Then Cersei starts talking about the Sparrows being a military force with the High Sparrow having a lot of power, the Sparrow gets intruiged but starts to wonder what the upside for her was. He doesn't ask directly and is subtle about it.

Cersei then becomes more and more direct about the Sparrows become more powerful and shifts her focus on enforcing morality.

The High Sparrow starts to pick up on it and in some way breaks character to show that no, not even he is pious, it's all just an act and he doesn't mind smashing a few homo's to get power.

They had this scene, but it was a little too subtle for me. You're left not knowing whether he is only going after homos and drunks because they're an affront to the Gods and he really believes that the sparrow's role is to smash drunks instead of feed people, or whether he's just doing that for a quid pro quo for the person who gave him power.

Nah they aren't stuck in that position.

Here's how I think it'll go down:

1. One scene with the Dinklage going through the streets popping his eyebrow up at the politics in the city.
2. Two scenes showing Dinklage getting harassed by whomever for being a lannister as he learns more about Mereen and what Daenarys is fucking up.
3. One scene where Tyrion finally gets a chance to expose himself as a political genius which earns him a place by Daenarys' side.

I don't think Varys will show up until he crossbows the shit out of Kevan Lannister. (which may or may not happen. I hope it does because that was the 'oh shit varys is a damn targaryen' scene for me, even though that's already revealed.

They're really pushing the Tyrion being a nihilist at this point, I don't know why they think anyone cares about him being depressed and needing redemption. But it should be easy to get him out of the rut. Maybe he'll see a chance for vengeance (against whom though?) or maybe he'll just see Daenarys who is pure of intent.

Oh I agree he is both a very smart and wise drunken midget with the potential to bounce back at some point even if he hadn't embarked on a quest to Mereen with Varys.

But without Varys having some need for him at the moment he would be a complete non factor at this time.

I don't really disagree with any of that. I just think it wont happen until after Varys shows up with whatever plan he has.
