lol, it was another great episode, ended exactly how my wife and i hoped after they ran to the center, but yeah... aside from 'wow' we both were left with how she looked composited into the FX but mostly laughed at the final shot of her supporting cast as she flew away and my wife said 'she left us!'

Otherwise, we found true happiness in the other 45 minutes, thanks!

Can't believe we're already at the season finale.

I was half expecting Dany to hold out her hand to Tyrion after hopping on Drogon. "Come with me if you want to live" and bam shitty Terminator promo at the end of the episode.

Instead we got Neverending Story camera angles on top of Falcor.

Inside the Episode specifically references George telling D&D that Shireen's sacrifice is part of the book plot. Yeah it was a horrifying scene. It was supposed to be. Just for shock value? Shut up, nerd.

i was mostly surprised by dany's husband-to-be getting all stabbed up, in the books isn't he the head of the gold mask guys? it was a bit cheesy but it was cool seeing drogon getting his dragonkill on, thought for a minute he was gonna die though to spears

other good surprise was finally seeing some good dorne scenes, although lack of titties was sad. i wonder if any dorne is gonna be around next season, if this is the entirety of the dorne plot it seems such a terrible waste of sets, time, and actors. the entire dorne thing was just a real low point for the show

the ramsay shit was stupid as fuck though, i don't care how good northerners are 20 dudes aren't sneaking into a massive camp and setting everything on fire. that was dumb as fuck. also that is like the exact opposite of the kind of shit ramsay would do, he couldn't help but stop at some random dude's tent and start flaying his skin

Amazing episode. The Shireen bit was perfect and the Daenarys part was very gratifying. I was hoping Jorah would die a heroes death, but instead he won the Essos javelin competition.

People who are shocked by Stannis burning his daughter haven't been paying attention. He thinks it's his destiny to sit on the throne and will do whatever he can to do it. It's two men in one, Stannis and the Mannis and he chose the Mannis.

I really like that the mother broke her zealotry, it was a nice touch.
