I’ve had some close calls. The worst was also some stomach bug. Went to bed feeling not great but nothing crazy. Woke up around 2am feeling like complete ass, went back to sleep hoping I’d wake up feeling better. 30 minutes later I jolt awake, holding on for dear life trying not to puke and shit myself at the same time. Fortunately held my ass long enough while I puked first so I didn’t have to be face down in a shit-spolosion.

I had hep A a couple of years ago. Every single acute digestive track disease I've had felt pale in comparison.

It does some very weird shit, and the disease just doesn't exist in the developped world, I had brought it back from Vietnam with a like 3 weeks incubation, so the doctors didn’t immediately recognized it.

The labs try to call me in the middle of night, called my gp as well they were like 'your asat are at 4k dude get your ass to the ER or something’. Spent 5 days unable to get up from my bed then another 2 weeks to recover fully.

I'm not a big of vaccine, but if you spend a significant amount of time in Vietnam, China, Thailand, well anywhere in Asia except japan and Korea, maybe this one is worth it.

Because a very bad food poisining, Gastro or flu are really a walk in the park in comparison.

Yep this is probably it,.makes sense. Some local schools closed because it's so bad.

Also I didn't wake up shitting my pants. I literally shit my pants in my sleep and woke up after the fact.

I'm usually pretty good about missing all of these yearly, but I think I caught one as well. Have had an upset stomach since yesterday; thought it was just something I ate but im thinking it must be one of these. Guess I'll be downing Pepto and water for the next few days till it works its way out of me.

When I was a kid my mom got Hep A and almost died. She spent a week in the hospital and didn't fully recover for like 2 months - which felt like a lifetime at 5 years old. The whole family had to get vaccinated of course once they diagnosed it.

Upped my ozempic from 0.25 to 0.50mg and it hit me so hard. I haven't eaten in days. I've forced myself to eat something today and I feel like I ate a fuckin horse.

I know it'll chill up but this ramp up is rough.

Also has my second of third laser eye treatments today. I will be glad when this shit is done because it's miserable.

Fly from MS to MN and back on a private plane provided by a company I worked for in the past. Meet with umpteen doctors who then gave an "opinion" and made it sound like they voted on it. Got a list of things to do and not do and list of non prescription stuff I could take in addition to prescription stuff.

Shit you not on the non prescription list is Ben Gay. The other non prescription stuff was Voltaren and I didn't find it to do anything except make you greasy. Lot of stuff including some prescriptive stuff I just found it odd Ben gay was on the list, and no - not lately.

The bone pain is not really pain as it is more just discomfort, but it's super annoying. My body has leched out minerals and vitamins out of my body and most of it down out with the urine. Shows up on a bone scane which took forever to track down.

It's not enough to warrent a serious pain medication but like I said you never escape it. That and it's always on your mind when you feel it.

When you lose so much potassium you think you are having a heart attack sucks. I take it every day. I knew it wasn't a heart attack my blood pressure was normal and my heart rate was up slighty , but the pain was incredible across my chest. I could't move my arms. EMS and some potassim infusion/iv and it feels better but it feels like I tried to pick up 1,000 pounds. I never had pain down my arm was another tip off. Like my collarbones were going to snap in half. It sucked worse than the time the tech gave me contrast die in an infusion and it was cold and not supposed to be.

Wife developed a nose bleed last night just after the game finished. She takes coumadin so nosebleeds are a problem. Around 12:30am we headed to the ER. They gave her something called a Rhino Rocket that they shoved way up her right nostril and filled with coagulation medicine. She has to have it for 3 days.

My sugar is pretty decent, 100-120 or so fasting everyday. I'm still on my pills until I get my a1c done for the year.

And yeah I'm basically just never having hunger cravings and a lot of times when I do have cravings they aren't strong enough to make me engorge myself on shit food. I really like it.

Down about 15 pounds.
