Heroes of the Storm

So, I've never lost a co-op match until tonight. Getting my initial 4 levels on Sgt. Hammer and loose 2 in a row, badly. How is that even possible? I'm not even mad just kind of sad and confused that people can really be that bad? The fuck?

You can lose co-op matches? This is news to me.

So how expensive is this game? $40 for beta, kinda turning me off... especially since this is the first dota style game that I've played that doesn't offer all existing heroes and future ones as well for the founder's price. If I'm going to be paying $60 for the entire selection of heroes at release, I won't even bother.

I thought the same thing, I mean, I'm no moba pro or anything but just lol. It was incredible to behold, solo tanks charging into 4 of the enemy team, assassins chasing past towers, no one even trying for objectives until they were lost then they would trickle in 1 by 1 and just die. All of this repeatedly.

That depends on how quickly you want heroes and if you give a shit about skins. I haven't spent any money, and have 11 heroes unlocked so far, but it's taken me a month of playing a good amount to do so.

Blizzard is playing it smart with the mindfuckery of the daily quest system. Its amazing how well the daily quests don't align with the free heroes.

"Hey do daily quests to earn gold and buy heroes and outfits! Today's daily quest is... oh I guess you need to buy a hero in order to do this one. Don't have quite enough gold? Well you COULD pay money for this guy and then you'll have him forever and it's almost like he's on sale because you get to earn gold once you buy him. Its a win-win bro!"

Some of the team comps this game throws together are just cringe worthy. I had a 3 assassin 2 specialist team last night. Went just as horrible as you would expect.

You unlock extra hero slots at 12 and 15. I don't think I've ever really seen a scenario where I couldn't clear dailies with the free rotation. Once you get a core group of dudes you like gold rolls in pretty fast if you're making sure to do the dailies and getting every character to level 5.

I tell people to get valla (2k gold) stitches or arthas (7k) uther (7k) and then whatever specialist and then you have a really solid lineup in about 2-3 weeks of just doing dailies and leveling free characters. People get really irate that they can't own all the heroes when half of them are really bad anyway. I'm sitting on like 30k gold at this point and just waiting for new dudes because most of the characters I don't have right now, I don't want.

Had a game earlier this morning where my team was Uther, Malfurion, Abathur, Diablo, and Valla. No winning with that lineup.

lol just had a 4 assassin 1 specialist team, is this game serious? oh and tyrande is one awful champ. Just leveling her for the gold makes me want to kill myself.

Where do you see the dailies? Or do you have to be a certain level to unlock them.

Played a few games today with Zagara. Fun hero.

Yeah I'm only 4.

bought uther, first 2 games, 17/0 and 18/1. Why don't I see this guy in every game. I've played like 100 matches and I've only seen him once before this lol.

I think he's far better than brightwing who everyone splooges over.

Uther's pretty much regarded as top tier support along with brightwing. Brightwing has some really neat tricks though. The global mobility, AE heals and sweet CC makes her pretty all around rad.

So when I play a healer, The game always puts a second healer on my team, and when I don't play a healer, there's a 50% chance there's no healer on the team at all.

I saw a few streams where there was a blue beam coming down on a player which helps pick them out in a battle. How do you turn this on?

Reinstalled after not playing for a few months... man I did not miss this game at all.

The PvE mechanics just make the game feels tedious.
