Nova and Butcher in the free rotation, gonna be an interesting week. 2 of the 3 heroes I didn't have at 5, so works for me!

Edit: I also agree that Valla is awesome and underrated, though I personally hate the AA build. Q and W are both pretty fun.

I think a lot of the skins look cool, I just can't bring myself to buy any of them. I don't think I'd notice enough to care

After my first game trying it I felt the same way, I was like wow, this sucks, why would you use this over q build, but really the aa build is invaluable against beefy compositions. My next game trying it was against a johanna and anub'arak and aa build just melted them, my usual q build I could have dumped all my abilities/mana on one of them and they'd only be half health. I even went bfb that game and once I hit 16 the tanks were dead before they knew it. The tempered by discipline talent at 13 is an insane amount of healing, if your team lacks pushing power/someone who can take camps easily go aa build and take tempered by discipline and you can solo camps with ease. So many viable talent options, even her ults are both incredibly viable.

I still prefer Vamp at 4 and GK at 13 for AA build. The only viable time to go AA is against beefy comps and GK will add absurd DPS. If they engage upon you realistically you should be dead before Tempered really kicks in since you need to build up all your Hatred as well.

Maybe my post wasn't clear, that wasn't the same build/thought, its not about preference. I'm not saying its a build you should use or see often, I'm just saying its an option, really all of her 13 talents are viable. I disagree aa should only be used against double tank comps. Yes, the majority of time it is against double tank comps and yes, the majority of the time you'll want to go q or w build otherwise, but if you are in a scenario that is something like 3 assassins, 1 tank, 1 support vs something like 2 specialists, 1 tank, 1 support, 1 assassin. You better have someone on your team that can solo camps because you will constantly need to push out lanes.

Not sure why you wouldn't always take manticore at 4 with aa build though, particularly if you're taking giant killer, that's sort of the whole point.

That description of the monk sure doesn't sound much like a support of the variety the game needs (ie a healer).

Game already has 5 healers, why do you guys think we need more? I'd rather see heroes with interesting mechanics that feel different to play.

I don't see why a character based on the monk from D3 would be a healer. Healing was like... a quadrary skill, at most. The "support" probably will be Mantras and Zones/buffs, just like the D3 monk.

Breath of Heaven was their only ability that was primarily a heal, and even then it was not spammable and not really used for healing regularly. The Mantra heal was a passive regen effect, ground aura isn't invuln but a buff of varying uses depending on rune. AE Invuln was rune from their self-invuln skill which is now gone anyway (it shields instead).

Really seems like auras + buffs + damage is the way they will go.

Yeesh. I definitely need to take a little break from this game. Had a Muradin in hero league argue that talent builds don't matter or some bullshit as he just picks random defensive talents instead of a thunderclap(which would have been amazing) or hammer build. I'm by no means an amazing player, but I'm not that much of a retard either.

Yeah, the amount of morons in HL is astounding. It's much better than QM, because at least people are trying and not just leveling shit to 5, but it's amazing how horrible some people are.
