i wanted to find our original Heroes thread, but that shit was probably lost to time. I'm actually excited to watch it again. the DVD extras seem pretty lit. 50 deleted scenes, unaired pilot. making of the show. should be a hoot.

I'm pretty sure this caused her entry into Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Sure, you could also attribute Veronica Mars, but I'm still holding onto Heroes as the springboard.

EDIT: Also, who didn't love Hiro Nakamura shouting "FRYING MAN!"

Indeed. The writer's strike really fucked over such a great show. And the carnival final season didn't help anything.

Show became a hot mess towards the end. Also, never forget Peter stranded that girl in a post-apoc alternate future and never bothered to try to save her lol

it stayed good long enough not to ruin season 1, you could tell that if they had had more episodes, they would have shit season 1 up too

Season 1 was perfect and everything after was complete dogshit for the most part. Definitely one of the best first seasons of any broadcast network TV show.

From what I recall, the creator originally wanted to have a reboot for each season with new characters/etc.

I downloaded a porn last year where the description was something about meeting this girl at a bar and bringing her home. They were fucking in front of the TV and the TV was basically the sound track. By the halfway point I was more concerned with what the TV show was than the hot chick getting a flying assfucking on the couch. The commercials were what first drew my attention but then I realized I recognized the voices and the dialog. Finally figured out it was Heroes. Most satisfying nut of 2020.
