Now I'm torn as to which one I hate more.

Ok, still the higher-pitched one, it is like nails on a chalkboard. But I don't like this one either.

To be fair, I think I hate most non-English Vtuber voices for some reason. Maybe I'm extra racist.

I think some vtubers change their voice tone a bit on purpose. Henya is a good example - go watch clips of her as Pikmee then some of her as Henya. Henya voice is higher pitched. She even confirmed in one stream she purposely was trying to use a higher tone of voice to help disguise her normal voice so people wouldn't be able to as easily recognize her.

Kiara used too as well. She makes fun of her starting voice and says its cringe.
