I really want to watch this now, i must experience how awful it is.. I stopped watching after the train scene last(?) season lol

I don't know if they are assholes for not wanting to hear the story. They are Ted's kids after all. I am sure he told them this story about 400 times already, with more about the mother and less about wanting to go bang Robin.

And, from what I have seen, I think they cut about 18 to 20 minutes out of this episode. I think they said there is a scene where Lilly pays Marshal on the bet that ted would end up with Robin.

And I was really hoping, at the end, when Robin came through the door, after ted said "I know what I have to do" or whatever, it would not be the blue french horn, but the naked man, the greatest of plays.

Robin walks out the door saying "We can't be crazy kids in the bar anymore"

robin couldn't have kids .so ted,who is the biggest pussy ever,tried to find the best female to give birth to his children.then he poisoned her so he could be with robin in the end

My complaint is not that she died its the divorce of Robin and Barney. It literally erased years of character development for them. Fuck the last two years were a complete waste of time and character development.

I hated that Ted always went back to Robin and it made me hate her character every single time he did it. Every girl Ted had a serious relationship with was better than Robin (Victoria, Stella, and even Zoey). And then they give us the Mother this season and make her incredibly likable.


And then they kill her and have Ted go back to Robin. Sure, it's "fitting", but it's trash.

I don't know which is worse, this or Dexter ending. Spend whole life learning to love, abandon wife and kid (to be a lumberjack). Spend seasons developing Barney's ability to commit, get divorced right after.

The thing with Robin, if this was actually 6 years after alienface died, is perfectly appropriate. The problem is, for the viewer, it is literally seconds after they get together, a buildup of 9 seasons, that she's dead and suddenly no one cares. The barney/robin storyline and ted/mother storyline have this huge build up, just like dexter learning to love, and immediately upon success they take everything back.

I can't decide: worst finale in the history of television? Or does Dexter still hold that title?

dexter's final season was already weak so the finale didn't shock/bother anyone.
himym was just retarded.building up characters for 3-4 seasons,to completely destroy it in a matter of seconds.
