Yeah, getting enough Fiber is huge. All those studies in the 90s saying red meat caused cancer failed to control for fiber consumption, and lo and behold Bob the burger blaster wasn't as likely to have a salad a day as Vickie the Vegan.

We eat about 20 grams a day each using these little dehyrated apple pear fiber bites. Natural and drink plenty of water with it.

I found that with no sweeteners and inflammatory things like seed oils my overall size of my stomach flattened quite alot along with the weight loss.

Lots of gut bloat due to all of the above and shit fiber intake

fiber has had absolutely the opposite effect for me on flatulence.

Even when the probiotics contain actual living bacterial cells, and even if those are bacterial types that actually have a benefit, eating bacteria is a terrible way to get them into your gut. Thats part of the purpose of gastric fluids. Hydrochloric acid isnt conducive to bacteria surviving the trip. AFAIC the whole industry is snake oil.

You can deliver bacteria to the gut but the entry point is from the other direction. And who the fuck wants that?

Eating things that promote good bacteria (like lots of fiber) and not eating things that fuck them up (like lots of sugar or artificial sweeteners) is the way to go IMO.

In any case, I don't think most people have digestive issues because of their gut microbiome. They have digestive issues cause they eat like 1/10 of the amount of fiber they need for normal digestive function.
Yeah, I was looking into the whole thing because a few family members had to go through rounds of antibiotics due to a surgeries. The medical stuff said after two weeks of antibiotics your gut bacteria is shot and you should start eating foods with active bacteria in it to supplement it. Which are food and drink like yogurt, kimchi, sauerkraut, kokucha, etc.; some of which are processed to kill the bacteria, so you still have to make sure it has an active culture.
