Would a box of Ranger - Cleric - Enchanter work? Or should I use a real tank?

I'm not quite 50 yet, but it's been fine. Ranger tanks work well enough here since mobs are a bit toned down. Not ideal of course, but it's ok. I was tanking freeti by 43ish to give you an idea... Front sol b spawns at 30.

got my trio to 16.5 last night, I think i could have gotten higher if I started at Crushbone instead of Blackburrow!

I'll say one thing if anything, BL pets are monsterous against these toned down mobs, even my lvl 9 pet with the first proc spell at 13 (mind you all 3 of my characters were level 16); let me murder a pull of D'Vinn, and Emp Crush a couple times last night. Pulled them both, mezzed crush and wrecked that poor DE.

Really looking forward to hitting up Unrest tonight, this shit is fantastic lol

Also, willing to take any hand me downs for BL/Dru/Ench citidal has already helped me a shitload to get the gears running which i really appreciate

Does this server have adjusted spell damage or lowered mob resists? Also, don't die if you're bound in erudin palace or else you go to the kitty box.

No, not enough skels, gargs spawn for it to be the money maker it was on live back in the day. But sea furies drop a lot more loot than live, made 5k in a couple hours of farming them the other day.

At what level? I most likely wouldn't have bothered going all the way to that isle anyway, just because its really far out of the way to run an ogre BL there lol.

I've been trying to think of a leveling route to 50 but i'm not sure at what point Unrest is worth leaving these days.

I figured:
(what i've already done)
1-5: North Qeynos (sucked, would not do again)
5-9: Black Burrow (also sucked, would just do crushbone 5-16)
9-16: Crushbone (quite fast, didn't take long at all just killing legos, slavers, and the throne room/tower)

(what i'm thinking of doing next)
16-22ish: Unrest
22ish-30: High Keep Goblins/SolA
30-40ish: Lguk
40ish-50ish: SolB/LGuk

Lguk primarily because i want to camp a gangster ass SMR for my enchanter~
SolB because i want GEBs/Djarn ring
I also dont think this is a very viable place to farm $$ though, so i'm not entirely sure.

Definitely fun server! I went war/mag/shm, but I'm starting to question the trio. At this point (34) things die so fast I rarely bother to slow. If I am going to get a big pull I just send the fire pet and alternate nuke/heal. Stuff melts fast. I see they have a "solo" progression quest. Does that mean people are farming planes/dragons with their 3 box?

The solo progression, from my understanding of the server, is there after you get almost everything out of each expansion. I think if you played solo and geared up all of your guys and did all the quests (the important ones), you should be able to kill those lesser bosses and it still be pretty challenging with 3 boxing.

That's how it feels to me. Or you can get some friends together and kill it.

One of the things that I kind of like about this rule set is that, although boxing is allowed, there is still plenty of grouping. Most people aren't just isolated islands of xp/loot.

I dropped 10k on a kunark casino trying to get a pre-nerf fungi staff. Guy next to me had gone through 30k and only found one thing.

Does Steam version of Underfoot qualify, and is there a site for explaining how to connect?

(steam and non steam) Underfoot works, theres a guide on the eqemulator website, it's pretty simple; only takes a few minutes if you already have everything installed

Went Pally, got lvl 4 then got bored and decided to play PS3. Will get back at it soon. Was thinking Pal/wiz/wiz or Pal/wiz/druid. Any thoughts on whats OP? Clearly DPS is king as mobs have such low HP

Edit - Who has free pally shit for ole Nester?

If you wanted a paladin & wizard i'd probably do pal/wiz/shaman instead of a druid, that way you get haste/slow and other buffs for the pally. Plus the wizard can still port you around.

You'd have to keep in mind that a lot of people play shaman though lol

wiz/wiz/wiz, all with epics.

Win at everything.

I think my leveling path was:

1-3 North Qeynos
4-13 Blackburrow
14-18 Oasis
19-33 Unrest
34-46 Solb
47-49 Rivervale
49-50 Neriak

thats pretty decent, I love me some lguk though, and i really want an SMR
I also really want 2 pairs of GEBs and the ring for my BL~

Were you just killing guards in the cities?
