6. Start Cowboy Action shooting.
I know exactly one woman who is into cowboy action shooting and she is a complete psycho so I would tread lightly there, especially if she actually starts becoming a good shot. That could really reduce your chances of escaping at some point.

He was never going to outrun her to begin with. Gotta accept that you are trapped sooner or later.

lol I do it, so I know quite a few. They are all extraordinarily nice ladies. Most are older women so that might make a difference. Retirees. I also knew a 16 year old world champ and other than the fact that she beat me by a country mile every month, she was nice too.

It's a small sample size I'm working with to be sure. This chick is like 33 years old with a 16 year old son. Living in small towns she literally has to move like every 3 years because that's how long it takes her to burn her bridges with half the community. I wasn't one of the many dudes she slept with while she was in my general proximity but she definitely isn't a good ambassador for Cowboy Action Shooting.

If you live in a dark enough area you can get a pair of binoculars and a lawn chair (each of you) and/or a telescope as you progress and start stargazing. At least will get both of you out of the house if either of you have any interest. Also works well with kids. $50 celestron astro binos and a lawn shair, a phone app to show you where things are.

I have number of expensive telescopes and a lot of times I still go out with a quilt and a pillow to stargaze and use one of my binos, celestron makes a cheap one for <$50 you want low power not 12x50, maybe 7x35.

It was mentioned to do with his wife. And yes there are star parties that go on for a week and such in dark areas. It can be very social.

Divorce finalized today, I’m officially single again. Disappointing and retarded situation but the future looks very good from where I’m sitting. Career still going extremely well with an average of 2 raises per year, and I’m finally making progress on the game dev front.

Zero desire to date, not sure if/when that will change. Not too terribly concerned about it honestly.

Mine felt the exact same. I'm sure she had legitimate complaints; but it didn't seem to equal a divorce situation. When you get back out there you are going to find how easy it is to go on dates, but I always feel like it is a little weird because I know I cannot commit to them until my kids are all at least teenagers which is 7 more years for the youngest. The life part, though, is like living on easy mode because my lifestyle hasn't changed a ton in the 15 years since I was previously single...but my income sure has!

From her perspective she had legitimate complaints, but most if not all of them were due to imagined things. So… yeah.

The only thing I saw as legitimate was her response to my “anger issue,” which was a response to the extreme frustration of the 3,000th imagined issue.

Weird how they all have the same playbook.

When you're married, you think no one could possibly understand your situation. When you're divorced, you realize everyone already lived it.

Kind of why I posted here to get your guys' perspective with mine and make sure I wasn't just being retarded. I do still feel a little guilty for being yet another statistic, though.
