It sure as hell ain't sex because everyone stinks and is worn out from hiking 10-20 miles a day through mountains.

Oh, we absolutely enjoyed doing stuff together. But we also had our own individual hobbies that we enjoyed as well.

It absolutely worked out correctly, our relationship was over for a host of reasons I won’t bother going into here.

Have you given any consideration to finding some other nerd activity you both like that could involve other people? Like a board game or TTRPG night? Or maybe a good old fashioned movie night?

Up until about three months ago I was still an absolute wreck about it. Done a ton of work over the last year. Finally coming out the other side, weaning off the anti-depressants, and coming back to life.

Its one of those things thats very easy to say - if she cheated on you, she didn't care about you and you shouldn't care about her - but hard to do. Good work if you're there, its where you need to be man.
