Well, they chose one of the best songs ever made for the trailer music, gotta give that to them. Hopefully the kid doesn't end up being Fem-Punisher.

I hate that I am probably right. It's obvious that Netflix is just gonna wash it's hands of Marvel/Disney. Not sure if that's a great idea since they would still have had all the rights to these shows for years on their service. My guess is they tried to play hardball with Disney and realized they weren't gonna win in the long run.

Yeah, that's what i was thinking. But even if they lost after playing hardball this feels like loss compounding loss by being stupid. I get cancelling Iron First and Luke Cage and maybe even JJ due to cost vs. rating but not Daredevil and hopefully not Punisher. All the releases i saw back in October/November said those shows and future spin offs would stay with Netflix, like you said. It almost feels kind of like a "cut off your nose to spite your face" dick move.

First episode was alright to good. I fucking HATE the Frank plays with kids and plays family man bullshit. I love the Frank kills everyone stuff. The whole middle of this episode was nauseating, but then it gets worth. Shout out to Ringo, you went down a baller.

Hopefully that girl replaces Karen’s involvement with Frank, I can’t fucking stand her. Every scene with her just makes me want to turn it off.

marvel did the same thing with fantastic 4 and x-men. they started tanking their own comics in order to make fox's properties less appealing. i wouldn't be surprised if marvel threatened to do the same to netflix and they just cut ties with the properties altogether.

i ALSO wouldn't be surprised if it was a preemptive attack by netflix to try the same move. if it ever really gets off the ground, the disney streaming service is set to be a real competitor to netflix and netflix is already starting to struggle as it is.

generally i'm pro-capitalism but this is the worst of it. it's easier to poison the well than it is to make better content

The Daredevil people confirmed this was all Netflix. They were writing and shit for the next season and they were shocked they were cancelled.

well yeah, i mean disney doesn't have the authority to cancel a netflix show. my point is that netflix hasn't been advertising the marvel shows and then reporting low audience numbers. netflix is clearly tanking the IP on purpose, the question is why. i assume it's so that when disney gets the rights back they'll have to work extra hard to rebuild the name

To be honest all those marvel shows sucked ass except for DD and Punisher.

Also Disney will probably launch their own streaming service if they havent already and have the best shit to create for, well except their Disney so they will probably squander all their shit. they have Marvel, Star Wars, those two alone should print money for them, but sadly they will produce shit, like they have been doing with the SW universe. Besides the entire Marvel thing is getting played out anyways.

In the meanwhile Netflix produces more unique new shit, like Altered Carbon and still come out on top.
