I didn't see the family portion of that movement back then but I remember being outraged over the political bullshit with music and games. Especially music. You can always tell who the kids are, because they're completely oblivious to the "politically correct" movement of the late 80s/early 90s and the cultural backlash at the time towards being anti-politically correct.
People also forget that the general population also rejected the "family values" shit that was being pushed at the same time.
He's not wrong. The woke bullshit, while still fucking annoying, is on a massive decline. People just don't fucking care for it and now they're actively against it. You see it not only politics where it's now called out and dismissed in the same paragraph in public, you see it less and less in entertainment. Even juggernaut companies like Disney have admitted it failed.Huffing so much copium that he's not leaving some for anyone else
What? Family values pretty much ruled most of the US during that time and was reflected in the sit coms of the era.You can always tell who the kids are, because they're completely oblivious to the "politically correct" movement of the late 80s/early 90s and the cultural backlash at the time towards being anti-politically correct.

And, as a teenager in the mid 90’s, we cracked pretty hard on the PC bullshit. That was shit then like woke liberal shit is now.
I’m aware. I was referring mainly to stuff like Full House, Family Matters, etc. Married with Children etc were substantially fewer in number than the other sitcoms. And even the “anti family” sitcoms still most had episodes where they reverted back into family stuff definitely happened on Simpson’s and married with children. In living color had more in common with Saturday night live. No, family values meant something different back then. They meant a return to old stuff like The Waltons or Leave it to Beaver. They considered stuff like Married with Children or The Simpsons or In Living Color to be bad influences.
