This is going to be a fucking pile of woke shit. Hard HARD fucking pass. 🖕🏻

I don't think so. I think this was put into post-production recently enough that they'd make the necessary changes given the recent shift in the cultural marketplace. Their target market is 40-50 year old men and their sons, and we all know how they voted.

We'll see - I could be wrong. Certainly 2026 is a 'borderline' year, and it could go either way. We'll know after opening night.

I think you're gonna start seeing a lot of distancing from woke marketing this year, and it's possible that this is the opening salvo in the 'big budget' segment. But you're gonna see more and more movies start walking to the center/right once the ones that were put into production 2+ years ago are done coming out. We're seeing the last dying gasps of wokeism.

Huffing so much copium that he's not leaving some for anyone else

ehhhh i don’t think so. It’s pretty noticeable that that particular cultural movement is in significant decline. At the very minimum the peak is well past us.

i expect Hollywood to catch up on an 18-24 month delay, the the degree that Hollywood can be expected to.

You can always tell who the kids are, because they're completely oblivious to the "politically correct" movement of the late 80s/early 90s and the cultural backlash at the time towards being anti-politically correct.

People also forget that the general population also rejected the "family values" shit that was being pushed at the same time.

I didn't see the family portion of that movement back then but I remember being outraged over the political bullshit with music and games. Especially music.
The censorship, the artists getting arrested because of lyrics. The "explicit" warnings. Games were just as infuriating, like when they blamed Marilyn Manson and DOOM as influencers for Columbine.

You're right about the family values being rejected, the falling birth rate is proof of that.

He's not wrong. The woke bullshit, while still fucking annoying, is on a massive decline. People just don't fucking care for it and now they're actively against it. You see it not only politics where it's now called out and dismissed in the same paragraph in public, you see it less and less in entertainment. Even juggernaut companies like Disney have admitted it failed.

Really only places that it's so entrenched in is Amazon (which this movie is) and Netflix. Then places like Blue sky and whatever else those echo chamber faggots parrot each other in.

It's dying, not fast enough, but it's noticeably declined.

What? Family values pretty much ruled most of the US during that time and was reflected in the sit coms of the era.

And, as a teenager in the mid 90’s, we cracked pretty hard on the PC bullshit. That was shit then like woke liberal shit is now.
