I don't know about the rest of you obsessive forum users but when someone is sent to the Shaw, they might as well be dead to me because I never go over there. So to me someone just disappears for a while - which I guess is a win for me because most of the habitual Shaw residents are relatively shitty posters.

This is functionally what he does to conversations, and this is by every definition toxic behavior

Mist and Tanoomba... I don't see the harm in letting them have cult of personality threads in the rickshaw. Disable reporting in the rickshaw... you'll have to check it for child porn and illegal shit -- but you won't have to deal with troll reports out of those threads.

And if something really heinous pops up in a shaw thread, we can always just report it LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE by posting in the Amod thread, or using the shoutbox, or using the sidebox. There are at least five ways to report illegal posts which will get a response within minutes to hours which are not the report button.

I get that from a user standpoint but from an admin standpoint you can see why I want some defined rules and for a "punishment" to be effective right?

Can you all not see that?

We have people begging to increase our numbers but when we have people that never learn from their "punishment" the new people aren't going to stay.

Why not simply stop seeing it as "punishment" and start seeing it as "quarantine"? They want to post all day in the shaw? Let them. Let them shit up every single post in there.
