If you actually read this thread before the WS started you would know that I might be the biggest Cardinals hater on these boards and I'm cheering for the Red Sox. The Red Sox "redemption" story is a load of shit. You mad bros
Well, I hope game 3 was worth the money. That was one entertaining baseball game for me.Just got myself tickets for games 3-5. Will be my first World Series games. Gonna be the 4th time this postseason that I've made a 12.5 hour drive to St. Louis and back to see games. This whole government shutdown mess made it super easy for me to get away. Can't do any business when all of your government contacts are/were furloughed.
Middlebrooks was standing off to the side of the bag when the first thing Craig makes contact with is Middlebrooks' foot. That's why he fell in the first place. If Middlebrooks had been standing directly in front of the bag then it would have been obstruction without question.Bros, I totally get what you are saying now. It's hard to have an outcome decided on a judgement call. It seemed pretty clear to me last night that Middlebrooks was raising his legs on purpose to keep Craig at 3rd, but I didn't see a push-off until now. As far as the slide 'causing' the obstruction?... that's a bit of a reach.
