I think game 5 took 5 years off of each players' life, on both teams. The Astros have hardly been electric. Outside of Verlander, they seemed pretty beat last night.

Both teams on fumes imo. Tonight was all about, who had a little bit more to give. I'll say it again: Game 5 was so off the charts, I think it is proving, these players are only human just like us. I know I'm still feeling exhausted from not being able to sleep until 4am that night!

man Dodgers have left 10 on base and have 1 run to show for it, can't say they haven't had their opportunities

Part of me is hoping this game ends on a blown ball/strike call to speed up the process of us getting an automated strike zone.

I mean now that they have the box on TV showing it in real time, there's no reason to let human error fuck up the outcome of these games.

edit: speaking of that hey there's a ball called as strike 3

It's so crazy to think that all 5 of those runs for the Astros came off Darvish in the first 2 innings. That is all it took to take the game.

Sucks

Hindsight is 20/20, and I definitely did not love the way Roberts managed this series.

It surprises me managers still let pitchers just walk themselves into just absolutely Code Red situations. During the regular season? I get it. Early on in a postseason series? Ok, you don't wanna completely tank the bullpen. But c'mon.

Props to the Astros though, and to that front office for going out and getting Verlander.

I am sad Kershaw didn't get his ring. I wonder if the Dodgers who absolutely have the prospects to bring in a Giancarlo Stanton, would be willing to add that additional payroll after what will be deemed as a disappointment.

I'm ready for Opening Day.

Grats Houston. Great World Series even if Game 7 was a bore.

Side note: fucking grats to Dodgers too on a well played series. Game 7 might have been a bore, but that was a hell of a fight through the series.

Whole post-season was a trip. My Indians totally collapsed when they tried to be strong in the Bronx. Indians got beat, dominated. Then the Yanks also played strong next. Those friggin Yankees, you can never count them out. Then this series. It's been fine October b-ball imo ;) See you all next year!
