Pete Rose, Barry Bonds, A-roid, etc... Without a doubt, some of the best players ever. The problem is excusing their cheating or bad behavior because it opens the door for everyone that comes after them to do the same.

For example... Do you guys think Bank Robbers should be able to keep the money after they are caught and convicted? Well then, you've just encouraged everyone to rob banks, because at the end of the day, you are going to keep the exploits of your bad behavior.

You do the crime, you do the time, and then you still get to reap all the benefits? Not the best strategy to prevent the crime being committed in the first place.

If that's the way you truly feel the MLB should give back all the money they made from profiting off the steroid era as well. Don't stop at the players. That shit goes all the way to the top.

This x1000000. The biggest argument for Bonds and Clemens to be in the Hall is Bud Selig being there.

I do think that Bonds & Clemens, maybe A-Rod, will eventually get in via special selection committee. Probably another 20 years from now.

I bet Pete Rose will get inducted within two years of his death.

Barry Bonds, A-roid, and Clemens have a better argument than Pete Rose. That guy got the death sentence because he willfully did the crime with the death sentence punishment.

It's all context. You can put the top steroid dudes in and put some bullshit in about all the steroid stuff there too. People can decide for themselves how they feel about those dudes, but you can't argue that Clemens, Bonds, and ARod weren't just completely absurd.

A High School kid cheats on his test. He gets caught. He goes to detention. But, the teacher grades his test and gives him the "A" grade anyways. All the other students see this and so do the middle schoolers coming up.

Apparently, this is how you think the world should work? Guy, get the fuck out of here. You are almost as bad as an Astros fan.
