yea ngannou was stripped for sitting out

he has the belt, but it was split and devalued. his camp was pissed but DW hardballed them over not taking Lewis immediately.

still don't know how to size columns
with all the talk about interm fight happening after 133 days, thought i would go back a look HW title history
think 180 days should be maxium between title fights.

I might up that to 9 months, with allowances for extended rehab if there has been a serious injury. But it should be a published timeline and not totally fucking arbitrary as this obviously is from looking at the history.

Good work. tough call with Cain being stripped at some point they gave him a year I think I recall.

Ngannou was railroaded because of the Jon Jones situation, nothing more.

UFC was pissed he didn't take the Lewis fight immediately because it upstaged the UFC with the Jones thing. UFC said publicly they want to move on ASAP, and Ngannou balked.

That was where the big fuck you came from. He got done dirty. Even the fans feel its pretty disrespectful.

You don't devalue a champ offhand like that.
