His recent fights haven't been going well at 170. He weighed in at 174.5 vs Thompson then got finished by Woodley and Masvidal.

The dude's last win at welterweight was in October of 2017. Till has plenty of talent, and he's just 26 years old, but he's slipping after starting his career 16-0-1.

This is the lowest his stock has been in years. Dude might as well try something different and enjoy a camp without the brutal weight cut.
