I'll watch Glory from time to time If I come across it, but yeah there is something missing from it that K-1 had. K-1 maybe built up their fighters better, and not just from a drug standpoint either. There was so many iconic fighters during that era.

K-1 also had what may be considered the peak time for Heavyweights.

happened to me at a big house party with snow tracked all in the kitchen which was connected to the garage. where of course after 150-200 people passed through there was a metric ton of water on the tile floor.

nothing more frustrating than trying to engage and you cant get traction. got a lesson on how important feet and footing are in throwing hands. any scramble or big movement would result in that video right there happening, over and over again. i had dress shoes on and the hoods were wearing sneakers with strong rubber grips.

i can only imagine how ripped off the fighters feel having to compete under those conditions.

in the street you have the option to do the track shoes Captain Suave is talking about-- but it doesnt come naturally to just 180 degree turn and run as a man, ill tell you that. you need to have preplanned it. always have an escape in mind in a potentially hostile urban environment. be prepared to retreat fast and youll be fine mostly.
