A few things here that took some getting used to compared to other action games. At least for me. I never played Tera, but I did play a lot of dark souls so take it with a grain of salt.
Item usage and weapon, "weight." If you use the lance, gun lance, great sword, switch axe (axe mode), heavy bow gun, etc you will move considerably slower than normal if you have the weapon unsheathed. This creates a kind of awkward mechanic to get used to where you need to sheathe and unsheathe your weapon constantly for dodging (using the invincibility frame superman dive as they call it, you can't take any damage but requires you to run at full speed away from a monster and jump for it to work).
Second part about is about item usage. Unless using Sword and Shield. You need to run off sheathe your weapon then drink a potion. Healing Potions are overtime in this game so you will sit there sipping on it (you can slowly walk around while sipping) and any damage taken will interrupt the heal. But you will receive a portion of the healing for the time you sipped. This goes for using any item and they take varying times to be used (from instantaneous to several seconds). You are vulnerable while trying to use them. Learning when to do so is another level of depth to the game.
It all becomes natural quick enough though.

Its smooth there's just no training wheels, lean on us and feel free to join any fights we post. Some of us will chill in Discord or end up making a channel if we get enough people for a clan.
Being in a clan makes it so we can see each others quests on the posting board, as long as people are active its awesome. Multiplayer is done really well in this game.

Does PC have the Gathering Hub change out the gate? For everyone else, the Gathering Hub is how it sounds. You have to be in the Hub to see other people in your clan in the game with you if you're connected to the online session.
For awhile on PS4 you couldn't go on missions and return to the gathering hub. You had to go to the regular town, then back up to the gathering hub. Which was just tedious and annoying as fuck. Given you won't always want to go there because the hub has everything except the Forge (Wru forge dumbwaiter?).

Combat is great, but you'll have to get used to it as people have mentioned here, but since you played Tera, you're already familar with animation locks / recovery, so I think you'll do just fine here.

Seems there's a lot of issues with the new Denuvo garbage in the Chinese version(which released earlier already since it's on the Perfect World client instead of Steam so they do their own shit). Apparently is getting fixed today, so chances are it might get fixed before it goes live here(their "solution" might just be to remove Denuvo for now), but otherwise if you have an old processor, the game just doesn't even launch. The denuvo min reqs are higher than the game's min req because of this.

Think that's too old. It's still possible the issue won't exist at all in our version though, we'll see in a little bit.

I just did this, heads up, when you click the install remotely link you get no options. So, while it did just install on my home PC, no clue what drive it installed to. Might matter if you have a setup like mine, where you have a NVME drive, an SSD, and a storage HD. Here's to hoping it is installing to one of the first two! lol
